Aduhai~~!

Aduhai~!

My old pc decided to go dead on me on Monday. Out of desperation, I decided to ask my mum for a loan to get a new pc.

Right now... I just have to concentrate on my assignments at work.

Dont miss me... Haha

Told you i was easily distracted

As I was typing thru the first post of today, I stopped midway to cook my dad a bowl of noodle, reversed the car, chatted to my brother and watched television.

Miraclously I finished the balance 0.25 of Module 4.

Then, as I was devouring my lunch...
Tomato & Sardine omelette with alphabet nuggets and cheese cocktail sausages

I watched more tv... the new channel on Astro...Beauty and Health Channel, i think... For the past two days, I have been watching the E! channel and this Beauty & Health Channel...Aiks.. Makes me want to lose weight, eat healthy, and revamp my wardrobe, room and house.

Mirc chat action alert!!

Someone takes a fat trout and slap gohyie with it

I sensed a big sweat and confused look on whoever reading this... Sorry... I am so bored that I am getting a bit crazy...

Final day to study

1.25 module to go. Cramped in about 20 plus pages last night. I think I study better at night. Can concentrate better.

Yesterday was so distracted. I actually cleared all my unread emails and waiting for new email to arrive the whole day so that I can read it. Lame

It is anything at all to get me off from studying. I really dont have the mood to study.

Hmm...What to blog about today? Lemme see...

Yesterday, I read this post by Carrot for her best guy friend. I was touched. It reminds me of the friendship between Dennis and I.

Our story is....We got to know each other better thru icq. We rarely talked in school. We were in the same club but we didnt really communicate. There was a sense of weirdness between us when we are looking at each other face to face but when we were chatting online, we are no stranger to each other. I guessed it is safe to say that he knows all of my secrets and possibly know me better than anyone. The situation persisted on during the first year of our university lives. Finally during the second year, we decided that we should try talking face to face. We had been emailing each other as he was in Riam branch and I was at Senadin branch. One day, as I was feeling suffocated at home, I went to Riam branch to use the pc there, online and got him to meet me there. It was awkward. We werent talking and both of us were looking at the computer monitors, doing our own stuff. The awkwardness ended some time after that... Since we took the same class, we did assignments together, revised the subject together.... One day, friends were thinking that the two of us have something going on. It made the two of us very awkward. Then, we cleared it out during our online chatting and we have been ok ever since. He is my venting machine when I have problems and I am his venting machine when he has trouble. I remember a particular time when he came to find me one evening and showed me his scarred face, still fresh from the punching he got from his gf's uncle. Shocking. Although he is now working in KL and I am still in Miri, each time he is back in Miri, he will find me to have a chat as online chatting is very rare these days. suddenly very lazy to elaborate so cut the story short la

Yesterday, I also got emotional watching Grey's Anatomy. Sigh... Last year (I think) Lynns tried to get me to watch this series but I was too into House at that time. The episode I watch yesterday got me to shed a few tears. Lynnwei, I think I will want to get the Grey's Anatomy Series from you to watch when you are back in Miri.

Yesterday, I talked to Lynnx about not mopping my house floor for quite some time. This morning, I mopped it. Cannot stand it anymore. Need to do something about it. Feel so much better after mopping it. Haha...

Not only that, I also washed my blanket this morning. Know how a child will say how nice-smelling is his/her blanket after using it for some time? For others, the smell is unbearably foul. I find my blanket to be foul-smelling recently. Sweat No worries, now it is sweet-smelling. Hehehe....

Oh! My dad.... Had a little row with him the other day. But now it is resolved already. In fact, he just discovered how tasty is Har Mee and I think is addicted to it. He even added a piece of fish into the Har Mee for extra sweetness. When I was cooking Har Mee for breakfast this morning, he threw in a piece of fish in addition to my own concoction of veggie and mushroom cocktail sausage. Not only the Har Mee, he also discovered that I have a pack of Tao Kae Noi Seaweed on the coffee table and it is nice~~!! In less than 24 hours, he discovered that his daughter actually been eating good food recently. Hahaha....

My big bowl of Har Mee with green veggie, oyster mushroom, tomato, mushroom cocktail sausages and one big piece of fish

Day Two of Study Leave

So far, I have read thru 3 modules. That is like 1.8 module in 2 days. Hopefully i will be able to read thru the remaining 2 modules and then go thru the questions i printed from the cd in 2 days time.
I wonder if I will panic again this year. I remembered panicking the night before the exam for my previous exam. Called my mum to tell her that I think I might fail. Didnt fail but sort of worried that it might come true one day. Choi! Choi! Choi! Touch wood! Phui!

Posting a pic of my studying on the green table. Customary le. Each time have exam, i think i will post something like this. heheh.... 3rd exam time...2nd exam time...The first time I took CPA exam didnt take any photo. hehe...

The green table is also very legendary. Without it, i might be sleeping on the sofa already.

Btw, went to Tamu Muhibbah this morning after waking up. Convince myself that i need to get some vegetable into my meals so I went out to get some. Also trying to avoid studying. I am trying to escape the fact that I need to study and take the exam. just like what I am doing now. Blogging when I should be studying. Hmm... My mind suddenly has an idea. Maybe I call the office to disturb my colleagues. hahaha~~!

I should be studying but i am not

Last sunday, that is 29th March, went to indoor stadium with Lynthia, Lynna and Joaquina to watch this National Dance Challenge 2007.
13 teams from all over Malaysia (actually just teams from JB, KL, Kuching, Sibu and Miri) compete to win the title for group category and individual category.
They also invited a choreographer and his team of dancers from Taiwan to be the judge of honour and to perform. The choreographer and the dancers are supposedly the choice dancers for Jay Chow's concert. Dunno true or not but sounds very grand and wahlau.
The stage, lighting and sound system are very high tech as well. They also projected the show to two white canvas. And the stage very huge and grand thru that camera. :P
Hmm..Forgot to mention that this event is organised by SUPP Young Ladies Club.

Alright, below are the videos of the performance by the Taiwanese dancers. These five videos are not in the correct sequence and also not in a very good quality. What do you expect from a handphone? I was sitting quite far from the stage and the lighting is not helping also. Kinda of noisy also. Kinda of blur. I just want to put here so that didnt waste my effort to video it all. Btw, it is 5 parts because my handphone refused to record everything in one go. -_-|

Anyways, I am supposed to be studying but I feel too distracted. Need to clear off everything that is bugging me including writing this blog post.

This morning, went to have breakfast at that particular coffeeshop and then went to office. Got Joanna and HLing to sign the card. Ah! Another insider's joke.

Hallmark Birthday card = RM 16.50
Postage fee = RM 6.00
Curious look on a friend's face when he knew I bought this for a guy = Priceless
Endless possibilities of what might happen if I get a reply from this card = Hilarious

Anyways...went to banks and post office this morning to pay bills and bank-in money to pay off debts.

Ok la...I happy liaw. should really be studying liaw. :P

One Cup Three Straws

Last Saturday, went to eat dim sums at Grand Palace's Han Palace. It has been so long since I went there to eat. I do believe the last time was when the Tings were in Miri. So, that is like December. I am not very sure why it is like that but I felt as if the dim sums are no longer as nice as I remember them. Apart from the prawn dumplings, I prefer the dim sums at Mega Hotel.

Anyways.... Went to Sugarbun yesterday with Chai and HLing. To have dinner after sending out and collecting documents ar Imperial Mall. The picture below is our private joke. One cup three straws. So loving~

CPA exam... on the 7th... Module studied is only 1.25 modules. Module left to study is 3.75 modules. Time left... not much. I am dead meat.

Random events and JWei's Return

Been quite a few days since I have updated my blog. Hmm..lots have happen but a lot is un-blog-able...Anyways...

Recently got a new item in my room. A place to hang my earrings. Previously my earrings are hung on a string and the string starting to drop because of the weight it has to support. I have been wanting to get a sushi roll mat to hang the earrings. When I mentioned this idea to HuiLing, she immediately went to get a wooden mat...not sushi mat..cause sushi mat is too small. She bought a wooden mat and got me one as well. As soon as I hang all of my earrings up, well , almost all of my earrings, I discovered that I actually really dont have that much earrings...Time to get more earrings...Ordered three more pairs online. Gosh... Spending money without even getting out of the house. Terrible.

Then, the poster of JiHoon is up in my room. erm...erm...Second poster is still on its way...hehe..

Then, more of JiHoon... He acted in the commercial for this butter waffle in Korea...And when I saw this Julie's butter waffle in Sin Liang the other day, I just went gila-tic and took a pic of the box... No, I didnt buy the butter waffle 'cause it is not of the same brand as the brand he acted in. :p

Finally, the Har Mee that Dancing Queen been promoting. I finally see it at Sin Liang Supermarket. Tried it and it is Goooodd~~~~ It is nothing like the Maggi Mee Udang. It actually tasted like the real Prawn Noodle.

Went to Miri Cafe for JWei's final dinner before he flew back to KL the next day. Hmm..Been years since I have eaten at Miri Cafe. The last time was during Christmas and I remembered having beef steak while the Lynns had turkey. This time, I had chicken chop and JWei and I shared a plate of fried calamaris. Overall, the dinner was disappointing. The fried calamaris is not as crunchy as I have hoped. The chicken chop was too dry and I am not a big fan for french fries.

Oh! We (JWei, Tomato, Nanotay and I) went for a Chinese dinner (as JWei like to call it). He actually wanted to have dinner at Miri Cafe but decided otherwise. The original location is supposed to be Tanjung Seafood Restaurant but since they doesnt have Sambal Ikan Panggang, we moved to Yih Ha Hai instead. We also had bilin fried in red wine, dried butter chicken and mixed veggie in yam ring. After dinner, we went to Bintang Plaza for some window shopping before moving on to Coffee Bean for drinks.

And this is Nobby's Nuts in smoked bacon's flavor. Not bad... Yuanz bought it at the Gurkha's army store at Seria.

Busy with work ad work and work... Going to have my CPA exam very very soon and I am very behind in my studying. I am so dead.

I want to have that kind of body... Got to lose weight la... Btw, she is Eun Hye, the princess in Goong...

Aduh~~ So many things to think and worry...

More Goong Madness

In my previous post, I mentioned about me shopping online in eBay. Well.. One of my shopping items is Goong Original DVD. (Lynnwei, I still want that dvd from you...hehe) Anyways...After five days of waiting, the auction is finally over and although I was outbid twice, I managed to get the DVD at RM68.00.

Because the auction ended during weekend, I had to wait till Monday for the buyer to confirm that he/she has the money from me and send the DVD to me. What I didnt expect is that the DVD actually arrived earlier than the other stuff I bought.

It arrived on the 11th April. My hands were shaking with excitement and I was grinning like a Cheshire cat. Hehe...

This piece of update is a little out-dated but dont care la... On Saturday, HuiLing helped me to get JiHoon's posters from IdolHouse. So currently, I have two posters of JiHoon. When I was still in the office working, my mind was reeling with thoughts of how to preserve the posters and where to hang it in my room.

As soon as I left the office, I went to Popular Bookstore to get two black cardboards and one roll of plastic wrapper. Basically I made a frame out of the cardboard and then use the plastic wrapper to protect the poster. Because of the slight opening between the cardboard and wrapper, the Winnie the Pooh sticky tape came in handy. The Winnie the Pooh sticky tape was given to me during Christmas. It becomes the inner frame of the cardboard frame.

I still havent made the second frame for the second poster. Still procrastinating. The first one is already on the wall of my room. I stare at it every morning and night while listening to the OST of Goong.

Hehe... Next aim is Goong earrings.

Cant resist to put another photo of them...

Earning in RM

When I first read about it on Lynnx's blog, I was thrilled. This is a chance to actually earn online money in RM. No longer do I have fret about how to get the payment etc. etc. etc.

I have always been interested to earn extra cash. To be able to earn some cash from my blog is actually great considering that I dont really have to do much but write more blog posts.

I have joined a few online advertising services. But more than often, I find it hard to fully-utilise the services. They are just not 'friendly' to me. It seems so confusing to me.

Advertlets is actually so easy to sign on and apply. I cant believe how fuss-free it is.

I look forward to earnextra cash from Advertlets.com!!

What is in your bag?

I have almost all sort of things in my working bag. It has actually gotten to the point where I have to dig around a lot before I can actually find what I want.

Yesterday, I finally found a solution to my problem.

A mesh bag for the small small things aka my handphone cable, my little diary book, etc. By doing so, I can easily find things in my working bag.

So...right now...the content of my working bag is of my Braun Buffel purse, Calvin Klein small bag, mesh bag, my slimming tea, and my travel size Eternity Summer perfume.

My working bag look so much tidier now. Muahahah~~!

Btw, JiHoon is now acting in a new series called "The Devil" and he is the bad guy. :( It was said that his acting in the series is very good o. i wonder if I should watch it or not. The pic below is his look in the series. He actually lose some weight so that he can look more like his character.
Looks a bit like Vanness....What do you think, ka-zens?

Dont have to go out to shop

Recently I am sort of hooked to Ebay Malaysia. Forever checking out what is for sale there. So far... well, not going to tell how much have I spent. Not much...I am being very choosy.

I am planning to go to Coffee Bean sometime soon. Not free enough to go yet. Still have my RM 20 cash vouchers. Need to use it before it expires in May.

Oh! The other day when I read xiaxue's blog, I found that that pack of seaweed is so familiar. Then, when I went to Watson, I finally understand why. It is also sold in Watson. I bought a packet of the seaweed and also a pack of oyster mushroom crisps. I brought the packs to work so that I can share with others (and because I dont think I will eat it if I put it at home). The seaweed is yummy but the mushroom is ..urgh~! disgusting.

Still busy at work. Will continue to be busy for the next few months.

Jinnwei will be back on Tuesday morning. Hmm... Someone at home with me. It is going to be interesting.

Just in case you think I am no more addicted to Goong...

I am not cured yet.

Goong on 8tv finally ended tonight. Hmm..No more other drama series to look forward to watch. Oh well...

So far, I have saved around... perhaps...300 plus pics of Goong, Joo Ji Hoon, and Yoon Eun Hye. Continue searching for more.

I will continue on !!!

Struggling

Struggling with my work, my studying, my tv time and my other something time.

Work - Stressed out with the assignments. Everything seems to be put on hold. This year, I felt as if the bad things befallen on me this year. One lousy assignment after another.

Studying - havent make any progress yet. I am getting worried about not being able to do well this time. The previous time I freaked out the night before the exam... fortunately, I passed it. Got to study~~!!

TV time - I have a few tv programs that I ritually watch every week..Missed out on some of the programs this week. Damn~!

This morning, went to visit Great Grandma's and Grandpa and Grandma's graves. The amount of people isnt as much as previous year. Probably because everyone else has done it yesterday during the public holiday, Prophet Muhammad's Birthday.

Yesterday went to use Lynn's pc to watch youtube videos. All related to Goong. I was looking for one specific video that I saw in a picture. But couldnt find it. My home pc is too lousy to watch youtube videos. Joanna and Huiling have gotten the Goong virus and the three of us are crazy about Goong now. Hehe...

My Office Desktop Picture

Ohya~! I just placed a bid on EBay Malaysia for an original dvd on Goong (i think)and a Guess watch... Cham lo~! When I go out window shopping, I usually will have some sort of impulse buying. Now, even stay at home, I also have online impulse buying. Someone have got to stop me~!

Ohye~! Recently, cousins and I have started a healthy habit. Once a week, that is every Sunday, we will go to the small hill nearby our place to walk/jog. Amanda and I are still at the walking stage while Lynthia is jogging. Last Sunday, the two little ones, Lynna and Abelle, joined us for the walk/jog. I think it is a good practice because that way we are sort of motivating each other and forces each other to ,at least, do some exercise. :P

Bought a dried sotong yesterday for the grave-visiting today. When I brought the sotong home, I suddenly remembered a scene in Goong. The romantic part of the Prince and Princess at the beach. Muahaha....

Notice the dried sotongs at the background?

Me with the dried sotong I bought

-_- I know it is lame.

Such a pig

I wanted to wake up early on Sunday so that my Sunday wouldnt be wasted. But instead, after switching off my alarms, I continued sleeping. Even managed to switched on the air -conditioner for a more cooling environment. My room was getting kind of stuffy due to the closed curtain and ever-rising sun.

My morning was spent sleeping. Till my head was sort of heavy and dizzy the whole day. Only managed to get rid of the feeling of heaviness after a walk at the hill.

Watched Heroes...The re-runs of Heroes. Glad that Star World actually has this Heroes Marathon. Otherwise, I might never get to watch the episodes I missed.

Btw, when I went for kua-hunting two weeks ago, I went to Mona Lisa and the bridal gowns there are stunning. The evening gowns they offered are also magnificent. I have so much fun looking around while waiting for the lady to get the kuas they have. The gown on the right caught my eyes. The white sash from the neck flowing down to the waist with a flower to gather the material to show the body curve. I want to be able to wear that. But of course, i will need to have the perfect figure first. Ganbatte~~!! Aza~Aza~ Fighting~!!

Actually feeling kind of crappish now because I dont know what to do. Maybe I should just go upstairs to my room to study. Still at module 2 when I should be studying Module 3 now. Got to take my CPA more seriously.

Still stressing out at work. Argh~! This year, it seems to get particularly hard. Aza!Aza! Fighting~! Hmm..anticipating my first OT pay this month...Hehe...

Last night, editted some pictures to make my handphone wallpaper. Err..Actually, I cropped some pictures, not edit. The one below is my most recent wallpaper (before cropping)

Listened to it whole night long... Sigh~

*Contented*

Did I start it?

Remembered something funny that happened in the office. Guess I should write it down for the laugh of it.

It seems as if each time we start working late there would be an electrical blackout. So far, the count of blackouts for this year is 2.

The first blackout of this year... I think almost everyone said simultaneously "Oh shit!"

There was two clients waiting in the office at that time. I didnt notice their reaction to our 'rude' outburst but I am curious, still am.

Hmm... I wonder if you guys see the funny side of this.

Surfed the net yesterday for pics of Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye. I wonder if I have gone overboard with this obsession.

Didnt eat lunch today. I had such a heavy breakfast that I didnt feel like eating any lunch at all.

Went to a wedding reception dinner yesterday. Dad's friend's daughter's wedding. Makes me have some thoughts about my own future wedding. *More determined to lose some more weight*

Mum is at Japan at the moment. She won the all-expenses paid trip. Sigh... I wish I can go le... :P

Eating me inside

Last week, I was obsessed with Goong that I actually sleep less in order to watch as many episodes as possible each night. I think I am getting old. I am still obsessed but I cant stay up late anymore. I have once again fell asleep on the sofa.

Work has been stressful. To explain it, I shall use Assignment A, B and C.

Assignment A is an assignment that I have been working on for the past, at least, six months. It is extremely messy and I have suffered a blow to my ego and confidence due to it.

Assignment B is an assignment that is in a hurry and messy as well. It is even more troublesome than previous year as I have to truly clear up every problems which has been accumulated from previous years.

Assignment C is an assignment that is actually quite easy but it has a lot of data key-in and matching work. I have spent a lot of time and wondering if it is even worth the bill amount it will be charged of.

Juggling this 3 assignments within this week made me even more tired. I constantly have to switch from one assignment to another till I am making clumsy mistakes, which drove my senior even more dizzy. Thankfully, Assignment A and B are almost over and done with. Just a little bit more follow-up and I can sign these two assignments off. Somehow, I cant wait to work on easy assignments. Hard assignments are good but it is difficult to handle if it comes in a package of two or more.

I am only able to get thru the days happily with the soundtrack of Goong playing thru my earphones whole day and also the images of the series playing thru my mind.

Yupe, I am still addicted to Goong. Who knows I might even be able to sing Korean songs...specifically the soundtrack of Goong. Hehe

Oh~! I want to write about another frustration that I had a few days ago. It began when I discovered that I cant seems to connect to the Internet. Damn! My streamyx bill is overdue for two months and Telekom's system must have just added in the third month charge. I cant go online unless I pay for the overdue charges. Anyways... I made the payment and I am back onlining again.

Why the overdue bills? Sigh... Living by myself and managing the money to support the home expenses and my brother's expenses. It is a cashflow problem. I am a person who wants to settle every bill as quick as possible and it frustrates me when I cant.

Then, i want to clarfiy that i think I cant gamble at home. Gambling at home is bad luck for me. Last night, I had played rummy again, this time not at home, and I am the big winner. *Grin*

Oh! A big thanks to Lynnwei for telling me where to get Goong OST. It is a bliss to be able to hear all those songs while I am stressing out.

Btw, I have also discovered that I actually get full pretty fast these days. I am not sure if it is a good or a bad thing. On Saturday, I had another steamboat session and this time, I was basicalyl full till my stomach felt as if it is going to burst. It actually hurt all the time while I was playing rummy.

I can finally hear my own music

It has been ages since my car's cassette player gave up on me. It insisted on eating up the cassette I put in it so I cant use it anymore. The only function that is usable is the FM/AM radio. At first, i didnt mind as much but since Capital FM is no longer available, I was devastated. I resorted to TraxxFM and AiFM , the two National English and Chinese radio stations. I guess I have gotten used to it that I actually didnt mind as much until they start to just talk and talk and talk and all I want it to listen to music.

I have ever suggested to Dad to get a cd player installed into the car but it didnt happen. Seems like I have to earn the money to get one myself. Sigh... The disadvantage of having a cd player , however, is that I will need to have cds to play it. Sigh. I stopped buying cds long ago. So, this is actually not a very good way to solve my problem. Somemore, I cant get myself to invest more than RM100 in the car. I just cant. I rather spend the money on something else. :P

Yesterday, I saw a device in a friend's car that made me think that there might be hope for me after all. It is a mp3 FM modulator. Just plug in a storage device containing mp3s and thru the modulator, you can play the mp3s over your car audio system. The modulator, according to the friend, cost him RM 110. Moreover, I dont have to spend money on buying cds. One-time investment.

At first, I am hesistant about getting one for my car. RM110 is a huge amount to spend considering my current cash reserve. I cant believe how fast my cash reserve dropped this month although I distinctively told myself not to spend as much. Damn the bills. I almost cried when I listed out the amount of bills I need to pay. *Fainted*

Then, by chance, I have extra cash today so I went to Boulevard IT Superstore with Joanna and look for this mp3 fm modulator. To my delight, it only cost RM85. After half-a-minute consideration and with the extra cash in my pocket, I paid for the modulator. *Still wondering if I made the right decision*

I have tried it out in the car for like three seconds before letting my dad use the car to go out. Will try it again tomorrow. Haha~~!

Recently, since I have watched the whole Goong series, I have been listening to the OST instead. I can already imagining myself listening to the OST in the car. Pure bliss~!

Sequel to Addiction

In my opinion...

There are mainly two types of Korean story plot. One is contract marriage and the other one is loss of memory plot. Occasionally we will see a different plot but overall, they are almost the same.

Contract marriage plote is the type where the couple get married even though they dont love each other. This type of plot usually has the funny and romantic factors as the couple discovered how they have fallen in love with each other. Then after they sort of fall in love, the third party will appear and cause them both to suspect that they dont love each other and then finally confesses their love for one another.

Loss of memory plot is that the couple is already in love with each other but something happen which cause one of the couple to lose his/her memory and then years later, they meet up and the one who didnt lose memory will try to revive the other's memory of their love. The memory revived and they continued on. Then, sometimes, one of the couple will get a life-threathening illness and finally die, levaing the other half alone. This plot is more to the sad and romantic type. I dont really seeing any with funny factor to it.

So far, I have fallen for the contract marriage plot only. Loss of memory plot is not that addictive and find myself feeling so tulan when i see the plot turn for the worse, life-threathening illness. Argh!

Goong, is by far, my worst addiction to Korean series. It is the loveless marriage plot. No contract involved so cannot label as contract marriage plot. It is an arranged marriage by their grandfathers.

I started watching the series when it was halfway thru the 5th episode (if I remember correctly) and fell in love with it. It is the series they got married. Then, after that, I borrowed the vcds from my colleague and that night, I watched from episode 11 to episode 24, fast forwarding each scenes I dont like and admire the scenes i like. The whole process took me 5 and a half hour. From 10pm till 3.30 am. After a three-hour sleep, I went to work.

Needless to say, I was so tired when I went to work. While I was feeling so sick of my assignments at work, my mind is reeling with the scenes from Goong. After that day, I faithfully watched two episodes per night, starting from episode 1 which i missed. At work, I have the vcd played over and over again. I dont know what are the people talking about as it is in Korean but listening to it and the background music makes me feel so happy and energetic.

I want to download or buy the OST of Goong but I havent found it yet. And if possible, buy a dvd of Goong for my own keepsake. Yupe, I am truly in love with Goong.

Chap Goh Mei

Chinese New Year celebration officially ended on the fifteenth day. Chap Goh Mei is in the dialect of Hokkien and is loosely translated into "The Fifteenth Night."

Last night, I finally had some gambling session. Rummy. Fortunately the bets are quite small so I didnt lose too much. Dont think I have the gambling luck this year.

Tonight will be big makan again. :D

A series of events

Have to back-dated quite a long time... To the time before Chinese New Year...

Actually went to the Chinese New Year night stalls to have a look. I remember each year I would go there with mum on the final night and it would be super-crowded as everyone is trying to do their last minute shopping. Then the next day, I would hear grandma complaining about how the pork seller has sold the pork since the previous night and the pork she bought is sort of not-very-fresh anymore. anyway, this time, I think I went at the second or at least the third day these stalls opened.

The cute God of Wealth at the CNY Night Market

Oh... Went to have a drink with Jeng, Elsie and Esther at Siamese Secrets during my one-week off from office. Sort of grateful for the one week long off from work. I finally had the calamari fritters that I have been craving for a long time.

A whole loads of cholesterol

Apart from the visiting on the first and second day and also the drink at Siamese Secrets, I spent my time at home. Sleeping, surfing, watching tv.

Then, one week is gone. It was time to start working again. It is so exciting to see lion dances in our office. It actually made the time passes more quickly. We had a few lion dances this year. More than last year.

Went to Siamese Secrets again. This time with Jeng and Alvin. What can I say... It is good to talk to friends... This time, our conversation seems to have matured though I cant remember specifically of what we talked the previous time we met. :P

Then, I was forced to go to listen to this medical seminar by a chinese doctor. It was held at Dynasty Hotel and the topic of the seminar is about Breast Cancer. I got to admit that it is kind of entertaining and informative.

Finally...my first video on my blog..hehe.. A short video of the lion dance in my office.

Oh! And I finally got myself a new mouse. I finally decided that I had enough of the old mouse which is very unreliable. Now I just need to get used to the new mouse. But one thing for sure, I dont have to feel frustrated by my mouse anymore.

Back to work

Sigh...holidays finally ended. Back to the cold harsh reality. Need to earn the bread.

I havent been online because I still feel a little down about using this old pc again. After a week of a good laptop, old pc is just too depressing for me.

Somemore, work is getting a little too harsh for me. I am under stress to complete my work. Still trying to cope with it along with my social life.

Perhaps I will do some pic collages tomorrow of what I have done. Quite lagging in my updating.
