It's a shoes affair

Bought a pair of Crocs Leigh Flat during the Sg Trip...

Reason for the flats is because my sport shoes is beginning to deteriorate...I was planning to get a pair of sneakers or another pair of sport shoes. Instead, I bought Crocs. Hehe... I love the vibrant turquoise colour and it is quite comfortable. Unfortunately, what seems to be a just nice loose fitting shoes has now become a too-loose pair of shoes. It keeps slipping off my foot. Urgh...

5 inches

As my 3.5inches heels getting raggier...dirtier...due to daily usage... I have been on the hunt since. Actually, I have been on the hunt for a new pair of slippers, heels and covered flats. I bought the slippers some time last week.

The slippers are such a cute pair. Brown and pink colour...I bought the slippers and discovered my blunder. I judged the prettiness of my slippers on the foot pad and...when I wear it, it is totally under my foot - not seen-able. Blah~!! Nevertheless, it is still comfortable.

Anyways.. after weeks of searching for the pair of heels (and flats), I finally bought ...not one..but two pairs of heels.
Quite unexpectedly, really. I have been haunting Vincci for so many many times...and I never find the pair that I like...and unexpectedly, I bought that pair of wedges. It has the height that I am looking for - 4 inches. Then...the black stiletto heels are the bonus pair - 5 inches heels. OMG.

Me love~
and all thanks to Lynthia for being so inspiring and to AhNing too...AhNing, you may borrow any of the pairs if you need them. :)

Something new

"You need to think about what you are in your friends' heart?"

I don't think it is a bad thing to get two bottles of liquer for my birthday. Maybe I am showing a bit more interest in liquer recently. I have opened Absolut Mango and... not planning to open Bacardi Apple anytime soon. :p
On the contrary, I also received pink piggy giant peg and pink piggy handphone bag. Super cute. Now, all I need is to choose a photo to put on the pink peg. :D

Today, I bought something new. I always feel kind of stingy about buying sport shoes. But, my recent new activity inspired me to get it. Hopefully I will have a better time walking in this. :D

The long awaited item - Crocs

I bought Adara in Chocolate & Cotton Candy and Malindi in Plush. Bought it online from a blogshop... At a cheaper price. Finally... I have a pair of Crocs... I still have the Malindi...

Unfortunately, Adara is too tight for me. My feet looks like an elephant leg trying to wear a strappy heels. Ugly. It is weird that although it is in my size, my feet is so ... constrained by it. So, I sold it off on the spot to Aunt Nora... Haha...

Malindi is just so cute~~ Going to wear it to work tomorrow. Hahaha....

I guess I have been quite busy

See... there was this outing at Taman Selera with the kids. We went crazy on the group seesaw thingie. You can watch a video of the crazy-ness in one of our facebook.
Then... there is this StCo concert. Brought these three ladies in mask with matching baby tee to watch it together. I almost screamed when I heard "O Jung Ban Hap" playing on the speakers and the performers start dancing to the music. Hehe... Guess I am still a fan.
Even though I do have September Challenge, I think it is futile. Cause of all the food I have been consuming... Laksa by aunt Cecelia... Wide range of ingredients. Drool~
Then... finally, I am on a shoes hunting mission recently. So... Irene, dear, which one is it? If these three is not... come. we shop together. I want you to be happy. Hehe...
My blogging block is almost gone, I think. In the mood tonight....Hehe

Unlucky

Talk about being completely "SOI"

I have been in total soi-ness recently.

My car started to break down... At first, the aircond broke down... After two weeks, the aircond broke down again. After it was fixed, the engine leak oil like mad. After that is fixed, the car doesnt have much brake. When I thought the car is fixed, the mechanic told me the aircond broke down. When I got the car back without fixing the aircond, the brake has little improvement from its previous 'no brake' situation. The car alignment is also a little off and the stupid mechanic fixed the car till it has an even weirder and noisier noise that he blamed on the tyre that has just been replaced about one month ago. Damn!

I had it! I am not fixing the car for the time being. Jinnwei is going back to studying so I will be the only one driving the car. Dont think my dad will want to drive it since it is without aircond. He has been avoiding driving the car. Previously he would drive the car regardless whether I need the car or not.

Then, there is my slippers. My only two pairs of slippers. Both of them broke off. I was slipper-less.

But, I got myself a new pair of slippers instead.

A pair of Diadora orange slippers.

I feel so drained physically and emotionally. Frustration.

Hmm...

Since my old pc is down, I have been using yuanz laptop but it cant detect the digicam or my handphone's memory card or my handy drive. It drove me crazy that I cant post any picture and thus, numbing me from writing any post. But later, I did something and the laptop begin to recognise my handphone. So...I am now writing about a lot of things that has happened.

The events did not happen in the following order. Just randomly arranged.

Today, went to Parkson and had a shoe fever. I want to get a new shoes as my gold working/normal wear shoes is getting worn-out. I really try to make sure that I buy when I need it and the gold shoes looks like it will give up on me anytime soon. So, I bought a new one as a back-up. Vincci is having sale again and after walking around the shop for the second time, I finally bought this pair. It is different from my usual style and despite looking a bit purplish and pinkish in the photo, it is actually black with silver lining ribbon. I think it is a bit on the serious and mature side. Planning to get another pair soon. Hehe...

On Saturday morning, Joanna told us all in the office that there are horses at Taman Selera and available for riding till Sunday. Apparently, our Miri City Mayor Wee got the people in Bintulu to bring over the horses for our entertainment for the Miri City Celebration. Joanna and I went there today during noon time and I got to ride on the horse. I didnt want to at first but later, decided to do so as it is a rare opportunity. It was fun. Later that day, I brought Lynthia & HuiNing to see the horses and Lynthia rode on one.

Below are three videos of my horse-riding experience. The guy actually lent his cowboy head to me to wear. Erm...Erm... Anyways...Watch it if you are really bored 'cause it is really nothing much to watch actually. And also...Please ignore my plump body shape. :p

Part One

Part Two

Part Three - Getting off the horse

Went to Curtin Alumni Gathering at Music Corridor, Eastwood Golf Course on 12th May. Err... Actually didnt feel like going but ended going there. Met quite a number of people and had conversations with them. Erm... Dont know la. It is a bit weirdish for me because I think I didnt know them well enough when I was in Curtin and dont really know what to talk about.

This week, I wasnt feeling too well. In fact, I got a little feverish on one of the days. Apart from that, I was also suffering from migraine. The migraine lasted for about a week and I am still having it now. On Thursday (17th May), I had Dave Deli's Chicken Mushroom Pie and Chicken & Mushroom Soup.

Finally, a pot of (still-in-making)lemon tea on Saturday night(19/05). Just thought that the look of the lemon slices in the pot looks cute. The reason for the lemon tea is for the iced drink for barbeque much later on the evening. There are supposed to be photos of the barbeque but because the laptop cannot detect the digicam's memory card, I cant post the pics.

Well... Situation at work is improving if I can get all the doubts in my assignments cleared. Once it is cleared, I will be eliminating quite a number of names from my long list of assignments.

Aza aza fighting~!

Been Busy (kind of)

I told you guys that I got hooked to drinking coffees at night. And so I did... But I didnt went out on the third night and so I am not really completely addicted though I was completely bored to skull. I really enjoyed San Francisco Coffee's quiche. And I miss that cup of Hazelnut Latte I had at Starbucks...

As I am living alone (seems to be dangerous to announce that I am living alone...hehe), I have held a few dinner at my place. Pic one is of a Chinese dinner but it is without any pork. I think I havent have much pork lately including the time in KK. Anyway, the second pic is yet another steamboat and this time the amount of food is controlled.
Apart from that, I watched Death Note with Joanna on Thursday night and she slept over. Which also means that I am not always alone at home. Phew!
I woke up early on Friday morning and went to have breakfast with Joanna. I had the Claypot Porridge and it is really good. Then at night, I went out to hang with Jeng. A promise to hang out at least twice a month. We hang at Siamese Secret which is really nice and we ordered a Tiramisu to share. It was interupted when Jeng discovered that the lamp actually dropped white powder and it dropped into our Tiramisu. Totally freaked us out so it was left half-eaten.
Oh! Want to thank Davis and Irene for the fabulous dinner at Nikko. A complete delicacies torture.
I think I am once again having shopping impulses. Terrible as I am supposed to save my money for play time with cousins.
Impulse One: I bought a RM79 Adidas slippers at KK and I havent regretted it yet.
Impulse Two: I bought a RM18 Nicole top at KK and I havent regretted it too. :P
Impulse Three: I bought a RM35 Vincci wedges at Miri and it will be my working shoes. Shoes are as pic below. What do you think?

Impulse Four: I bought a RM28 Giordano top at Brunei and I am not so sure about it now. :P
Impulse Three: I bought a B$3 charm bracelet at Brunei and I love it. Haha...!

So stop me before it is too late~~!!

New shoes

Went to Parkson with Lynthia and Amanda last night. And on impulse, I bought a shoes from Vincci.

Have been telling myself for weeks that I cannot buy any shoes till next month so that I will not over-spend..Sigh! Temptation and impulse sets in and I am gone...SIGH!!

Then, when we dropped out receipts at the doorway at Parkson to support stco...Stco is still number one for the prizes...Lynthia reasoned that the reason behind this success is because of the strategic place of the box. I think she is right.

Can you see why in this pic?

Flashback 1: New shoes, mouse story & temporary tattoo

After being deprived of good high-heeled shoes for quite sometimes, I finally spend some of my hard-earned cash in a shoes...Something that i shud have done ages ago before I spent all my money on things that I cannot remember spending on....

After a few weeks, I dun think this shoes is very good la...It makes me walk funny...Kind of slippery...Hahaha....I am so picky... :P

What will you do if you trapped a mice in a trap? I probably wouldnt do anything 'cause I wouldnt want to touch it at all. I remember whenever my grandpa trapped a mice in a trap, he would drown it in the drain before removing it from the trap...My grandma did the same thing although she felt very disgusted by it...But recently, I learnt a new way to kill a mice...My uncle suggested to let the mice out in the sun to die of heat....The maid put the mice on the top of the gatepost...and here is the evidence...

I wonder if the mice really die cause I din see it after I came back from work...

Temporary tattoo...the last time I had a henna done on me, I was really unhappy with what I have after it dried and peeled off...The whole pattern is light and is gone within hours, not weeks as promised by the guy who did it on my shoulder....
I give it another try again, at Curtin Carnival again...this time, I am happy with it....But I rub it off with baby oil after a few days...Cause it is fading and i dun like the way it faded differently at different sections of my hands...in another word, not pretty anymore la...
When the henna thingy is still on my hand...drying out....
