Pretty Pretty~

Last night, I took out all of my makeup stuff...and laid them on the living room's coffee table. Not sure how would i proceed with the makeup or the hair, I just decided to go with the flow. Hehe... It has been a while since I have put on full makeup and I don't have much experience putting on makeup on other people....

I did the makeup on A-Ning..and also the hair. Gosh... I had so much pins put into her hair. Worried it might fall off before the night ends. Hehe...

This morning... ChaiMF's wedding.

Pics tells a thousand stories. She doesnt want her face to be shown...so instead, you get to see her headpiece, hands, arms and feet. :D I just love the pic of her shoulder. Do you?

My First French Manicure

Went out and bought a new bottle of nail polish. To pay tribute to Purple Line, I bought Rock Purple colour.
Personally, I think to paint my whole nails purple is possibly too much so I decided to try French Manicure. I never done it before and has always just visualise how to do it.
Firstly, need to tape the fingernails. I use the paper masking tape and cut a slightly round shape. Cut a thick strip 'cause it is easier... trust me.

After that, it is time to paint the nails. Dont have to worry about the mess on the tape. The thick strip helps to prevent the paint from getting to the area that doesnt need the colour. Otherwise, why use the tape?
Then, after three layers of paint and a whole loads of drying time, strip off the tape and paint a clear nail polish over the whole nail.
So there you go... My first French Manicure... What do I think... Firstly, regretted that I didnt take enough to properly dry my nails after the clear nail polish 'cause it got ruined a bit. Secondly, this takes a lot of time and patience and I dont think I will do again unless I am in the mood again. Thirdly, purple is not a good colour...unless I match it with some other colour (maybe). Cause it looks like I have dirty fingernails, according to some people. Sigh...

Then... I want to show you all something.. something that I have just discovered today. I didnt realised that someone saved this pic in my handphone. I didnt know this someone took the photo and saved it... So, it was undiscovered for four days...

New year eve's morning..

I think this post will make "Mother" telling me to help out instead of blogging...Haha

Last night, i was supposedly going out with lynnx but I got my colleagues to go out with but I didnt go with them and ended up going out with lynnx and lynthia...confusing huh?

Bought a few stuff...Two nail polishs from Loreal and one spaghetti strap top from Nicole...

The nail polish... One is Loreal's Resist & Shine colour 503 for my mum. Slightly dark redish pink colour. More suitable for adults. The other one is Loreal La Collection Hologram colour 102. I will call it Shimmering Pink..erm...too typical...I know! It will be Holographic Baby Pink! Muahaha...

The top...it is also in pink. I have been on look out for cheap spaghetti strap top so that i can wear it at home. This is on sale and very cheap....Hehe!

Pick up jinnwei at the airport. Get to use his laptop to online. Enjoy the true speed of my broadband...The old pc is not good enough to enjoy the 1 mb connection...Sigh...

i feel tired...I dont know why...I just feel tired...

I dont know what to blog about

I guess I can give an update on the spring cleaning I have done. Firstly, i have tidied up the living room...specifically referring to the tv shelf area....I have also cleared up some space in my wardrobe. Have selected two bagful of clothes to be given away. Other than that, I havent done much...

I am starting on a project of creating a DIY skirt which I have been day-dream about for years. Havent been willing to part with my old jeans...Around nine years old jeans...brown jeans...Sob...sob...Hopefully it will turn out ok... :P

Tried on my new mascara the other day...Took a pic of it but I didnt think it was much different than my original length...I shall continue to experiment with it...

Out to window shopping with Adeline again today. I bought a Venetian ice cream from Wall's...I think that is how it is spelled...I forgot to take it out from my car and only put it into the freezer an hour after I arrived home :P...Anyway, I had lunch at Dave's Deli and I regret ordering so much food...Too full...

Not only I felt too full, I was treated with a blast of CNY songs supposedly sang live by some kids...There was this group from KL that sing CNY songs with some other kids...I get goosebumps while I listened to them...Nearly get indigestion also le.... Cannot stand listen to the singing...Which reminds me how much I hate the CNY version of popular songs...

I decided to cook a real meal for myself. The first meal after jinnwei left for Taylors.

Oh! I also experiment with the glass deco paint I bought quite some time ago. Just grab a small jar from the kitchen drawer and doodle a bit...

It started with a zit

So unlucky..i start my new year eve with an enormous gross-looking zit under my nose. Went to my facial appointment anyway. And find myself with nothing to do in the afternoon. Ten minutes seems like an hour. TV cant quench my thirst for something to do.
Then, Adeline text me and I asked her to go out. Yeah! Finally, i have something to do. We went to Boulevard where i finally bought the mascara I have been wanting for quite some time.

Then, we went to Imperial because Adeline havent had her lunch yet. Dave's Deli and then window shopping for her school bag ang got one. Window shop somemore before leaving for home. Oh! Found out that Wilbert's album that contains that great song has sold out. My hope of buying it for Selene (yes, Selene, I wanted to give it to you) was smashed.

A dinner gathering at Lynns' house and then had some fun playing 'cho dai ti' with Amanda and Lynthia. Then I went home to get ready for a night out at Island. I was still worrying over my zit...It has turned into the disgusting green (Eeuuww). Anyway, went to island and drove round the place to find a parking space. Parked my car at the far end of Grand Palace Hotel parking spaces. Met up with Karen. I had only two drinks that night. Long Island and Blue Magarita. No, I didnt get drunk. We did went to get the super hot taiwanese sausages to kill off whatever drunk-ness we had. Right before the countdown, we were given this box.

We blow the trumpet, make loud noises with the toys givens in the box, popped balloons using cigarettes and heels. Everyone going crazy making noises...Not much hugging happening anyway...But I did get to hug a guy and two girls...All my colleagues...Not strangers...















A reminder of what I have been thru during the countdown.

While looking at Karen popping the balloons with her high heels during the coutndown, I realised how dangerous is a female's high heels. Imagine the balloon is a guy's crotch. Ouch! So, the movies didnt lie...

I arrived home at 1 am...

High Maintenance Girl

When I was young, my grandma instilled her opinion in me. For years, I hear her say this: When you grow up and work, you can wear nice clothes and wear makeup. Become very pretty. Wear high heel and meet nice people.
Now that I have grown up and have start working, they do not understand how I can end up poor each month. I guess I was just trying to look pretty le. Unlike my brother who spend his money going out to yam-cha, watch movies and etc, I spent my money on my hair (in November and December), face (since I have start working), food, movies, car fuel and yam-cha. I have no idea why I spent all these money especially on my hair and face. Not like I have the figure to go with it. :p
Just this month, in December, I realised that I am turning into a high maintenance girl. I just purchased the shampoo and conditioner from Schwarzkopf which cost me RM 84 altogether, skin hydrating masque which costs me RM99. I also had a few skin facial wash left in my package that I have paid for in the last few months, a hair treatment that cost me RM 45 in bintulu using Loreal Professional hair treatment. Not only that I will also be acquiring a new Braun Buffel purse which cost me RM190...
If I continue my spending habit, I will never be able to save any money.

Therefore, I want to make a promise to myself that I will not spend money recklessly like this in the months to come.
