Anticipation to drive

Have been sitting in front of the laptop for almost one hour since I woke up. My life is reducing to the Facebook and One Manga-addicted life. Every day the same thing.

On Facebook, just realised a fact about Restaurant City from Lynnwei that I need to have it running all the time in order to level up. alamak~! I have been saving and quitting. No wonder it is so hard for me to level up.

On One Manga, I am reaching a slump again. Nothing else to read. Nothing interesting. Oh no~!

Last night I slept earlier than my usual sleeping time... 10pm instead of 12 midnight. Cause... I finally got too tired to stay up till midnight. Woke up earlier than usual as well. Before my alarm clock rings. And woke up to the roaring winds and... no, dun see any rain. A bit worried because I dislike driving in the rain and I still have to go out to pump petrol before heading to Brunei. I can choose to pump petrol when the others are here and we go together. But.. somehow, I want to do it alone. Don't know what type of mentality is this.

Just came back from outside. Bought and ate breakfast, pumped petrol and bought a big bottle of water.

Big bottle of water - Since Mumsie went to Myanmar for her meditation session, I have been living without any drinking water supply at home. Reason being that my house water filter is not maintained anymore so Mumsie forbade me from drinking water from that filter and started to transport filtered water from Brunei. And since she is not around and I am running out of filtered water supply (she transports a lot of bottles for me at one time), I have start buying mineral water... Kind of sad. Must try to work out a budget to change the water filter.

Then this morning, I realised that there is this Chanel envelope in the mailbox. Weird... I am not a Chanel buyer. Open mail. Ala... It is a promotional mail for Chanel new product and it comes with a free personalised pampering session and flash makeover session. Should I use this for the event on the 9th? Still wondering.

Alright...to tell you the truth, this blog post still in progress since this morning. And... I am back from Brunei.

And so... I finally get to drive to Brunei. Well, just Kuala Belait. It wasnt too bad. I have confidence to drive all the way to Bandar now. So, now is just the question of when will I do it. Haha...

On Leave Again

Ah... yes, I am on leave again. For more than one week this time.

Going to attempt driving to KB tomorrow. A bit nervous, really. I have never driven that far before. I am always the passenger so hopefully everything will go well.

A fishy affair

Ten days ago, I managed to get my hands on some free fishes. Thanks to Jacqueline for this opportunity. So exciting to see such big fishes and to be able to hold it in my hands. Hehe... Dad cut up all the fishes.
Few nights ago, Lee Sia, Chee Ai and I went to try out the korean restaurant opposite Chung Hua. The restaurant only had us three as the customers the whole time we were there. So quiet. But it was good because we can laugha nd talk as loud as we want without feeling embarrrased for disturbing others. Eating all those korean food make me miss Korea. I want to go travel in Korea again if I ever get the chance to.
Ah~ it is a long weekend due to National Day that falls on Monday and also because this is the start of non-working Saturday. I am clueless of what to do for this weekend.

I guess I have been quite busy

See... there was this outing at Taman Selera with the kids. We went crazy on the group seesaw thingie. You can watch a video of the crazy-ness in one of our facebook.
Then... there is this StCo concert. Brought these three ladies in mask with matching baby tee to watch it together. I almost screamed when I heard "O Jung Ban Hap" playing on the speakers and the performers start dancing to the music. Hehe... Guess I am still a fan.
Even though I do have September Challenge, I think it is futile. Cause of all the food I have been consuming... Laksa by aunt Cecelia... Wide range of ingredients. Drool~
Then... finally, I am on a shoes hunting mission recently. So... Irene, dear, which one is it? If these three is not... come. we shop together. I want you to be happy. Hehe...
My blogging block is almost gone, I think. In the mood tonight....Hehe

Not so fast

Have been on leave for the whole week. A bit weird. Stay in bed for almost an hour every morning after the alarm clock went off. Playing facebook for almost the whole day.

The pics from KK trip will need to wait. Didnt manage to get it from my friend so I have to wait for the photos to be burnt into DVD and mail to me...

Big decision...big action coming up soon.

I am back in Miri

Back from KK trip. Went to the sea (island) and up to the mountain (the foot of the mountain).

I have yet to get the photos from my travel partner who has a DSLR so I can only show some photos from my handphone.

Without any pictures, it seems hard for me to recap on the trip. I will try when I have the pictures.

Long time no update

I know. It has been another long absence. Blogger's block. After two days of being in the draft format, I finally have the ... inspiration to write. I hope that it is not short-term inspiration. Hehe...

And so, on the day before Nanotay's birthday, we cousins went out to Bintang Megamall for some picture taking for Group C, eating and talking nonsense. I finally tried Secret Recipe's Tom Yam and it isnt too bad. Nanotay treated us donuts...which I eventually brought home the remaining two as my breakfast...

My dad is in love with a new eating place... Dinner place. It is a place in Krokop 5. The fish is really fresh and cheap... But then, the veggie....not much to say. Eat fish can lah. btw, that is a bowl of bitter gourd soup.
Beware~!
Dont be alarmed. Just me and HLing preparing for office's carpet changing event. We have been warned by the other department of the strong glue odour and the dustiness during carpet changing so all of us had prepared mouth mask.

During my 4-year there, I have never reach such emptiness on my table. This is amazing. Pardon me for that patch of dust. I wiped my table before I removed my computer. So...
Anyways, turned out that the mask is useless because...number one. We can still smell the glue but managed to escape the dustiness. Number two. HLing and I were ordered to clean Boss's Office so we escaped most of the carpet changing mess.

Going to fly off tomorrow to KK... my luggage is halfway packed. Hehe... No mood to pack liaw. Hehe...I am so into Facebook nowadays that I am scared of myself. What will i be without internet? without Facebook?

Busy

Today has been busy for me. Loads of eating. From the early Dian Bian Hu to 10am Dim Sum to 12 noon lunch to 2pm fried dumpling to 3pm mango pies.

Aunty Leng wanted to make the fried dumpling and asked me to experiment it with her. I didnt realise how rusty and amateurish is my cooking skill. So, anyways, I went over to Yi Po's house after parting with Jac and Cafe 2020 Dim Sums...an hour earlier than my intended arrival time. And, I found myself looking at Yi Po working in the kitchen to prepare lunch and the materials for the fried dumplings. From the pics above, I guessed it looks like we were successful. But the truth is that... we failed miserably. First of all, these are China fried dumplings and so it is different than Taiwanese fried dumplings. Second of all, when Aunty Leng said experiment, it was really experimenting. No one knows how to do it. :p I am not sure that we will attempt this any time soon.

Due to the miserable failure, Aunty Leng made a comeback with her fabulous Mango Pie (I think it is more like Mango Popias. oh wait~! Mango Pie maybe right if you think of it in term of McD).

After that non-stop eating, I finally stopped eating. Helped Yi Po to water some of her plants and... you will not believe this. I helped to harvest the tapiocas...

Finally... I have some skills. My cooking skills are so amateur-ish compared to Yi Po and Aunty Leng. Who am I kidding? How to compare myself to these two cooking pros?! Thank goodness, I have gardening skills. Wipe sweats. Yi Po was beginning to think that I am a total failure as a woman. Hehe...

At one point - after pulling out the second tapioca tree, I was so dizzy that I think I was about to pass out. But I didnt. Phew~

Got to find a time to ask Yi Po to give me cooking lesson and baking lesson. Need to train my cooking skills. Too amateur and rusty already.

Didnt happen

I chicken-ed out. I didn't get a fringe. Cant do it. Instead, I just had a hair trim. The other day, after hair straightening, went to try the Beef Burger at Delifrance. Yummy~

On Thursday, went to Brunei for fun. Erm..actually, it was Wednesday night. Ermm... Didnt do much stuff.

In such a monotonous mode now. I dunno why. In fact, I feel like sleeping actually.

It is finally out

I have been suffering for two days... I think it is getting to the stage where it starts to become inflammed. A piece of food got stuck between my wisdom tooth and the tooth in front of it. I couldnt get it out... It was there for two days. I finally got it out just now... It is a chili seed.

Ever seen RM1,500 in coins?

Now, you have. I helped a friend to transport these bags of coins. It looks unbelievably little, to tell you the truth.

Gonna straighten my hair tomorrow. Fringe... I am becoming undecided on that. So.. straighten first lah...

When One is Sick

One can be so blur.

I went to pump petrol after I went to consult doctor about my flu. When the pump meter almost reaching RM50, it stopped. I was like 'what the heck is wrong with this pump?' At that moment...

Pump Attendant : Miss, sudah penuh o.
Me : Apa? Har... Macam mana? Oh no~
Pump Attendant : Tak apa. Saya cuba.

Thanks goodness for the existence of the pump detector (for detecting that my car tank is almost full) and for the existence of pump attendant (for helping me to pump in RM50 worth of fuel). I didnt realise that my fuel tank still has one bracket left. Usually I pump RM50 when the tank is almost empty. Blur...

Another thing - Usually the car fuel tank meter goes up slow and steady after I pump petrol. That day... it went up in less than a second. Haha...

I finally reached my goal of 1000 messages. The proof.

It now has more than that...

Ah~ Usually CMF's birthday is celebrated in a rush manner... We dont have time to celebrate in a leisurely manner because it is the busiest time. This time... we went to makan lor. Gossip-ing. I would be lying if I said we weren't gossip-ing. it is women's natural to gossip. :p

Dad brought Mum and I to this place at Krokop 5 to eat dinner... on the day I took my sick leave. Mum made the order...and she ordered the unusual combination of veggie. Unusual because we dont usually order those. I have no idea how to say it. But... the food is nice and cheap. Main point. CHEAP and NICE.

On the 1st... our office had a really long electricity blackout. From about 3pm to 5pm, I think. I went upstairs to hang out. Hehe... What to do when you have nothing to do? We took pictures. Just two pictures la.... Seriously only two pictures.

I resized the above picture to a smaller than my usual size because... I am in my aunt hairstyle and Lolabunny's hair is a bit messy. Dont want you guys to zoom in to see.... Hehe..

I am ridiculous. I know.

I am contemplating between having my hair straighten or curled... Please advise...Somehow, I have a feeling I might go for straight look again...with fringe.

Sick Leave

Last month, in the midst of all the busy-ness, my colleagues and I went online to order a bunch of stuff... and it came today....

Just finished sorting it out. Something is missing. Ah~ Have to sort it out tomorrow because the updated list is in the office.

Went to see doctor in the afternoon. Normal flu...Still have a bit of fever, according to the doctor.

Since there is nothing to eat at home, I bought some veggie and instant porridge.

You might also noticed that I have a pack of spaghetti in the plastic bags. I have unconsciouly bought it. Must be craving for some pasta... Actually, I wanted to buy some sardine, bread and cucumber...but I was worried that I will spread the flu virus to my colleagues so.. cancelled thought.

Fear Not

I am not having H1N1... Just that the stress and dehydration has finally caught up with me. With the lack of adrenaline rush for the June tax submission, my body finally gave in and I am now suffering of flu...even ran a bit of fever in the morning.

Still have a mountain of things to do in the office... I shall do my best.

Time to sleep. Till nex time.

Have you ever seen people set a cake on fire? I have. So have my colleagues. Errr..ok. Dont think too much. Just that there are so many candles that the cake looks like it is on fire la.

I seems to be in some sort of a hiatus. Which is sort of true. Been busy at both home and work. Dun even have enough time to sleep. But if you want to ask me to go out to play, please do not hesitate. Haha...

Treated ChaiMF to Secret Recipes during her final week in the office. Meant to post about it but... it is delayed till now. The Cordon Bleu was a disappointment. Meat is not moist (probably not fresh) enough and not enough cheese.
Also, I have purchased another new handbag. Hehe... Lynnx regretted introducing the online shopping handbags heaven. Haha... I will try to cure my handbags buying impulses.
In case you think I am being really busy... I still manage to squeeze in some time in the morning to take these pics... Experimenting with curly hair and then with the long straight hair. My hair is so long now...
Weekend... Saturday... Went up to KB to have Excapade japanese food. Ah~~ Salmon Sashimi. Yummy~~ Macha Ice Cream. Yummy~~ Err..the other pic is of Kelvin's soft shell crabs tempura. Heard that it is not very nice. Conclusion - dont order tempura. Not nice. Order Sashimi. It is super thick so it is super worth it. Haha...

Let's see... As you all know, I am quite busy. Yea...Busy. So... yea...I guess people are hating me for not updating my blog.

Ermmm..... my hair. It is very long now. Longer than before. I think it is reaching the waist area. But my hair has natural waves so... it is very messy now. Need to find the time to go do something with it soon. Right now, it is either all tied up or in a bun.

Got the bridemaid's dress from Irene the Sept Bride two nights ago. Bad news. I cant fit into the dress. Gasp! Ladies and gentlemen, the September Challenge is still on!! I will fit into the dress!! End of emotional outburst. :p

JWei will be back in Miri on Sunday. Cant wait. My purse shall be drained dry. Wipe the cold sweat on my forehead.

Ermm... Need to get some work done before sleeping. Same thing each time. So much to do, so little time.

Ah... I am going to be so stressed out at work. With no one to gossip to. Ok... not really that bad actually but... I am feeling sad about it.

CMF's last day is today. So many things to pack. So many things to do. So little time. Miss her already. No more standing up looking to the back and talking to her. No more looking at the reflection on the window and talking to her. Gosh...

I am feeling really tired now. The fatigue suddenly hit me at about 9pm but I kept working till 1030pm. I wonder if I will pass out or not.

Throat is not feeling well too... Seems to be at the verge of having sore throat and cough. Bad.

Got to swallow an extra vitamin c tomorrow morning.

Anyways..my brain kept on thinking 'what to wear tomorrow?'

Another year

Fourth anniversary at Andy Chia & Co.

I am finally a CPA. Going through another peak period in the company. The late nights are taking its toll on me.

It is also JiHoon's birthday but I am quite disappointed with his latest drug stint and also not very much into his latest movie, Antique Bakery.

Got a lot of work to do. Woke up too many times this morning so I am feeling a bit blur at the moment.

Joke of the year

I had a sleep full of dreams...When I suddenly heard someone calling me, I woke up and thought that I must be still dreaming. Why? Because no one was at home so... I opened the door and saw Jong and Carol there.

Why are these two people here? Hold on. It is so bright now. Last night I forgot to bring my handphone to my room. I didnt hear my alarm yet and it is very bright. Oh shit~~~~~~~!!!!

It is 10am. It is a working day. I am not on leave. Yes, I have just overslept and my two colleagues are standing outside my room. They broke into my house. Ermm..Wait. Make that six colleagues came to my house to see if I am alright. The other four arrived a bit later while I was still explaining to my Dad on the phone that I am alright.

Then, I heard the whole office was worried that I might be hurt or something when I wasnt at the office and I didnt call to inform. I also heard that everyone went silent and had a really huge sweat on their forehead when they heard that I JUST overslept. :p

And then, I heard that a friend came over much earlier but he didnt manage to come into the house. Hurt himself somemore when he broke into the house compound. Sorry

Everyone, thanks for your concern over me. I am touched that you guys are so worried about me. But this is so embarrassing and I am still trying to get over the embarrassment. I understand that living alone is dangerous. I promise that I will be extra careful. There wouldnt be a next time. Promise.

Mummy's Day

Ahh... I am back in Miri le... Surprisingly...Dad decided to come to Miri on Sunday afternoon instead of Monday afternoon.

Celebrated Mother's Day with eating Shabu shabu...Very very full. Seriously...

ok... I actually kept putting off writing this blog post. I have been wanting to take out some of the few photos that I have taken in my handphone to use in this post but... many many reasons of not being able to do so but explaining too much made me looks more guilty.

I am stalking someone.

I have constantly checking my googletalk. Waiting for this person to go offline. But so far, this person is still online. I am curious of the reason..purpose...of this person staying online till such late hours..or should I say early hours.

Gonna go to Brunei tomorrow and will be stuck there till...Monday late afternoon. I have prepared 2 issues of Cleo, 2 files of invoices to be issued payment vouchers and four movies to get through the weekend and the day time of Monday. I know this sounds like I am preparing for some sort of boring holidays but trust me, I have nothing to do in Brunei so the best thing is to bring something to do there. In fact, I am considering which one of the Twilight saga should I bring to Brunei. Got to be fully prepared le...

Oh no.. I am dozing off but the person I am stalking is still online. How~?!

Disconnected

I feel sort of disconnected at the moment. I easily forget things. My memory is failing me even more. Not good.

The highlights in between of my MIA are...

Miri PC Fair. I bought My Book and... I went there thrice while the year before, I didnt even go at all. I am really not very much into seeing all those stuff unless I really want to get something. Was companring the scenes of Miri PC Fair with the Singapore PC Fair (or should I say Computer Exhibition at Singapore which I went two years ago) when I was taking the pics below. A lot of difference. But Miri is a small place so not something to complain about. Lynnx was sitting next to me enjoying her lunch so..no, I wasnt alone sitting there in indoor stadium talking to myself. Phew...

Then, there is the Kacang Ma Chicken specially prepared by Carol her attempt to sabo my weight loss plan . I just want to say that I love the way Grandma cooked Kacang Ma Chicken because the ginger was grinded and none can be seen in the soup. Ah.. How I miss the texture of the Kacang Ma....Erm.. the end. I didnt have any dinner tonight so... I shouldnt elaborate too much on food.
The peanut butter for dinner plan, which I mentioned in the previous post, was thwarted. Ended having Wah Tan Ho instead. One week passed in a blink. Actually, I am sort of in shock now cause I just realised that another week has passed. Oh no~~

Must be the PMS 'cause I am having weird mood swings. At this moment, it is a feeling of being abandoned. Weird...

Ah! This is my third time editting this post. Hehe... Anyways, Irene, here is something for you to look at again. Saw it on a chinese magazine. Really love the designs on the magazine. Here.

My New Toy

It is Day Two of eating cup noodle for dinner. Going to switch to eating bread with peanut butter next week - cost saving. Hehe... Just want to see what you guys think of the picture below. I had the Spicy Mushroom cup noodle just now and dont you think that piece of mushroom looks so much like a fatty piece of pork?
Just in case you are wondering, I didnt have enough hot water and the noodle and seaweed took away a lot of the water so my noodle appeared to be quite dry....

Also, I just had another impulse buying attack. Erm.. Bought a whole stack of stickers AGAIN. Erm... no, I am not sure what I want to do with them. So... I shall see how lah...

Ok...My new toy. I just bought My Book from the PC fair that is going on in Miri Indoor Stadium from Friday to Sunday. RM439 - 1 TB....
Ermm... Going to make my laptop almost completely empty. Hehe...

Upset

I went through the morning in a blur - blur in more than one way. Sure, it was busy. But I cant remember what was so busy about the morning.

Afternoon also went past in a blur too... Seriously... I dont know what happen. I am quite sure I was working on an assignment but did I really take that long to complete that particular assignment?

Then, I found out something - that is too sensitive to enclose here - gosh... I am totally upset. Dismayed is probably the more suitable word.

I should sleep now. I think each time I blogged, it is always close to sleeping time. The only time my brain seems to work well with blogging...

Btw... I suddenly had the thought of organising a makan-makan session. I want to eat Beef Curry~~

Just so you know

I am taking off from work tomorrow. Hehe...

Reason for taking off is because ... I have been feeling tired for the past week. Ever since that crazy overtime I did at the end of March, I have been feeling like dying - even though I still work overtime like crazy. Must be getting old.

Actually... I also need to go and buy things and go to do some bank stuff. Stuff like this cant be done when I am at work. I am looking forward to having breakfast with my cousins, Lynnx and Lingdi. I am looking forward to having to relax for two days in a row - Sunday and Monday.

Btw... Mumsie has been appearing at home more often recently. A lot of stuff recently that made her come to Miri quite often. So... I try to be as tolerable as possible. Erhmm.. My independent lifestyle is pretty much non-existant when she is around - just so you know. But I am not complaining. I am not!
One thing though...I actually really love eating guava. I dont mind eating a whole guava... If you give me the choice between an apple and a guava, I will take guava. Mumsie must have bought quite a lot of guavas when she went to Sarikei. I had one at work the other day. The shape of the guava is like apple... Hehe...
I just posted a scheduled post on wgtgfashion... It is due to appear in 2 more days. We have changed from blogspot to a domain of our own. Do visit there sometimes...

I have been delaying my writing for days... Somehow, I feel like my English level has dropped tonight. Must be because of the Korean movie I just watched - Antique Bakery - acted by my idol, Joo Ji Hoon... The movie somehow is promoting a bit on gay-ism.. Urgh...

I am a bit blurry now. Cause it is Sunday. My brain is not really functioning. Somemore... actually wanted to post a picture of me and Laura but... after looking at the photo for a few minutes, I decided that we need to re-take the picture because I look horrible. No double eyelids and an obvious double chin. Not acceptable.

Pain~

Have a super scary-looking infection at my lower lips. Have been putting on layers of Vaseline on it. Still painful... Cant stretch my lips to smile or laugh 'cause it will cause the lip to crack. Oh gosh... No pic though. 'Cause it is a bit too scary-looking i wasnt able to capture the picture of it. It is cursed~~

After a hectic and nearing-exhaustion week, I begin to slow down to a more normal pace. But these peaceful days wouldnt last long. Those who knows will know what I am talking about. :p

The September Challenge

Inspired by my September Challenge, CT and JY (only can give initials because they are protecting their identities. :p) had created a ... competition. This is a competition between the 3 of us. Whoever loses the most weight will get treated to makan at Citrus by the other two losers. Our witness to this contract also included in the makan session. No limit to the expenditure at Citrus - at least 2 ppl are sharing the cost. Cutoff date to this challenge is.. well, it is September Challenge...so it is 30th September 2009.

So far, I seems to be still eating quite a lot le. :p

p/s: I just noticed something on the contract... I think I am mistaken. It is one person treat 3 ppl . Shit~~~!!

But then, I should just be happy eating this egg tart (courtesy of Kueh). Ah...But I, kind of, also want to eat Mega Hotel's egg tart now.

Ermm... Cannot blame me Can only blame myself. Didnt eat dinner properly. I just had something called Yoyo Bun from Hot Cross Buns and a packet of green tea (courtesy of Joanna).

Ohya! Been meaning to show this. Got it when I went over to grandaunt's place. The Mahathir breed mango... This one actually still has potential to grow bigger but it dropped when grandaunt went to chop off some of the leaves.

You must be wondering if it is sweet and have I eaten it. Well, the mango is not for me. :p So, I dont know... Haha...

Very very busy at work. A rush to the last minute. Then a slow down and then rush again and then another slowdown and the final rush...Damn.. Must be getting old already. Already feel so tired.

Anyways, she has told me since Monday that she will be coming to Miri on Friday. Erm.. People, usually when my Mum said that she will come to Miri, this is actually a warning to me to clean up the house. To give the house a bit of tidying up. Hehe...

It is embarrassing but it is the truth. I am not the cleanest person on earth. I dont mind to see quite a bit of mess. But my Mum is not like me. She cannot stand the mess and dirt. And so...

I cleaned up the house a bit just now and then... suddenly, a car honked outside of the house.

Me Mummy is here! She followed my relative's car to come to Miri. Wahlau aa~~ This is like spot check la. Phew... Fortunately I have just swept the floor. Muahaha...

Anyways..back to work. Actually...more like time to sleep. Bah.

I suspect

For ppl who knows of my home, they will know that my home is actually quite audible and close to my neighbours. I have the habit of having the car porch light on whole night and my neighbour has the habit of not having the car porch light on.

Today... I noticed something. I came home late and I forgot to switch on the porch light when i was home earlier of the evening. My neighbour had their porch light on and mine is off.

After I entered the house, I switched on the porch light and out of curiousity, I looked over to my neighbour's porch and noticed that their porch light is off!

Hmm... My conclusion is that my neighbour must be very caring of me. Stayed up late to wait for me to come home.
