At a hot spring hotel... erm... stinky sulfur water... urgh.. so smelly till i cant sleep. darn...

anyways... it's the start of the 3rd day! hopefully i will have internet connection at other hotels. crosses fingers~

MIA again... It's time to travel!

I shall be flying off to KK tomOrrow, peeps!

Gonna be there for 2 nights then fly to Taiwan on Tuesday morning. While I am there, I shall be out of touch... Because my phone no roaming le... I will only be contact-able on the next Monday (not the upcoming Monday) afternoon onwards.. Providing there is no delay.

Currently pretending to be sleeping because Mrs Goh is annoying. Despite of feeling eternally grateful to her, inserioualy cannot stand that she is packing & insists that I do the same... Packing as if we are going on a winter holidays. Super exeggerate. OMG

I am getting sleepy btw..

Another oh-so-hectic moment...

Despite leaving the super busy life I had two years ago, I find myself becoming busier. I dont get it. Now it's not just that few months..it is now a continuous busy-ness. Darn...

I did make a trip to Sarikei... Loads of makan-makan. The list is as follows:-

1) A1's red kolo mee at 4am - pre-departure

2) an apple in the car at Bintulu

3) two hard boiled eggs in the car - on our way to Sibu

4) a plate of kam pua at Sibu

5) durians at Mum's friend's house

6) ginseng shot at Aunt's house

7) grass jelly c at Aunt's house

8) super delicious dinner at Sarikei's best restaurant

Day 2

9) kolo mee

10) kong pia while wandering at the veggie market

11) home cooked meal at cousin's house - fatty roasted pork!

12) Kokoberry's pearl milk tea at Sibu

Had a drive around reminiscing our childhood at Sarikei with Yuan after shopping at Ngiu Kee Supermarket. I discovered that I only can remember..ermm.. two residential streets. lol. The rest of the residential area is a mystery to me.

Visited my primary school's tuition teacher... she still looks the same! The area I used to sit looks so small now... hehe...

Drove for the first time in Sarikei... Erm... impossible to get lost there.

Then... I came back to Miri and dived back into the busy-ness and late nights.

Then... I explored the possibility of devouring other Secret Recipe food (I almost always order the same thing - Tom Yam spaghetti). Gourmet pie soup ... black pepper lamb pie ... yummylicious...

The next day (which is yesterday), I held a manicure and pedicure session at Yi Po's house. Guess it was a success. Total manicure done - 3. Total pedicure - 6.

Finally.. Happy birthday to Lynnwei~!! May you have many great years ahead.

Chap Goh Mei

The CNY celebration is coming to an end. Boo hoo... back to reality. It has been fun while it lasts though. My cheongsam only made a few hours appearance and no more. Its glitters falls off and...caused JY's new car seat to be covered in glitters. Opps...
I am going to miss the open house sessions... All the yummy food. lol

The rummy session will still be continued and hopefully I will have a fruitful year. hehe...
I did my nails using the gel nail polish a week before chinese new year. It is very durable as they are totally unaffected by anything that I did except for.. the knife cutting. I accidentally chipped it when I was cutting up fruits. Anyways... the rest are ok until my nails start growing. Looks kind of weird now because I have grown at least 2 to 3 mm of nails... Time to wash them off, I guess.

I am bored

I remember there was a time when I ask a friend "what does couple do when they are together?"
He answered "errr... They talk to each other and other stuff"
I replied "isnt that what you do when you are with your friend? Then might as well as just be friends. Why want to make it girlfriend boyfriend le?"
Friend was speechless. He couldn't explain to me why it is like that.

Recently I think I have found the answer to my question. My life in school & uni is very fulfilling .... I have my best friends. My grandparents raised me to a "complying" person and I develop a "I dunno how to talk to stranger". Nevertheless I have plenty of human connection. 

Keyword : human connection

As time passes, grandparents gone off to heaven... Brother gone to study oversea at kl ( the south china sea. Lol).. I am left alone in a double story semi-d. I got used to it... 

But... I miss human connection. I find myself cannot always trouble my cousins... Or my friends... They have their own lives and they can't always entertain me. 

Answer to my original argument: it is to reserve the right to call him or her up any time of the day and it will still be ok. It's the companionship. Couple do the same stuff as friends but they dun have to feel guilty bothering each other all the time. My logic la... 

Ah... I would like a boyfriend please. Better yet a husband please.

Back from Sibu

I went to to Sibu anticipating that I will not spend more than..er... RM100. I mean how much can a bunch of kom pia cost?

To my horror, I spent slightly more than RM500. Damn...

My shopping items are as follows... a bunch of kom pias plus an assorted bunch of pias... a pyjamas (yes, I bought one. It is pink and it has bears all over it. lol).. a t shirt... dad's polo shirt.. mum's top... two tops... one work skirt... one panty hose... Glup!

I left Miri at about 8 plus am. Arrived in Sibu at almost 3pm. Checked in and hang out in my hotel room till 530pm. Went down to fetch my room mate to our room where we proceeded to get ready for the birthday dinner.

630pm - we entered into the magnificently huge Kingwood Ball. The dinner was quite nice... Really really full stomach.

After dinner, we went to visit a colleague's house...and back to hotel to zzz.

Sunday - went to buy kom pia first. Then to this unknown shopping place (I bought nothing here). Then to Premier where I bought two tops and one polo shirt. Then to Dae Sim where I bought the cute pyjamas. Then to Wisma Sanya - where I spent RM 260 at Toledo buying one work skirt, one panty hose and two tops.

Had late lunch and headed back to Miri. Arrived at 830pm.

Tired!!

Off to Sibu

Going to go to Sibu for an overnight trip.

Reason: Attend my company's director's Mum's birthday....

Shall be back on Sunday... Yawn..just (almost) finish packing. :p

MIA yet again

Time flies... In fact, 2010 seems to just come & go... Too fast... Haven't accomplished much stuff.. Chinese New Year is just around the corner. I am not ready yet. No, I am not.

I have been tupperwaring... Facebooking... Tried a bit of twittering... Instagramming...

Now? At this moment? Security guard at home. Tukang jaga... Carpenters installing cupboard & door...

Aaron's Mum is holding a Tupperware Clearance Sale at her house. Wanna sapu Tupperware? :D

Me? Paise... I already bought about RM 200 worth of Tupperware. Has stuffed them all in the cabinet and pray that Mrs Goh dont open that cabinet... Otherwise, I will definitely kena nag... Lol...

The Life of Rich Tai Tais and Small Miss

Yesterday I went for a leg waxing treatment with two Tai Tais. Tai Tai One did eyebrows trimming, leg waxing and pedicure while Tai Tai Two did waxing on her eyebrows and mustache.

Actually mustache is more like just a bit of facial hair on the upper lips area... not really a realy mustache. Hehe... I was fascinated.

Today we went there again... Tai Tai One did manicure. Tai Tai Two did facial. Me? Oh mien.... I did manicure and waxing on eyebrows, mustache, underarms....and last minute did a pedicure.

Conclusion ....

Waxing on the eyebrows and mustache...maybe i should say upper lips...lol... anyways... these two are not bad actually. I felt a slight pain from the moment the lady stripped of the wax then the numb sensation then nothing. Hehe...

Waxing on the underarms... I felt nothing... no pain.Seriously.... Maybe not much hair... I am not so sure.

And so... it was fun. therapeutic. Definitely doing all these again shortly before Chinese New Year... :p

Tripping to Brunei

I got a bit of preview of chinese new year's cookies.. pineapple tarts by my grandaunt and aunty. They gave me the ...err... slightly over cooked ones. lol... I guess they are sick of the tarts so they dun eat them so I get to benefit from it. hohoho... me like~

Went to Brunei for...err..no reason. Accompany my brother I guess. Five people in one car. Went to the I-never-been-there-before Times Square. I bought three bottles of nail polish which I plan to use for cny... hehe...
No Excapade this trip. Boo~

Fine dining at friend's crib last Sunday... after a sort of pot luck xmas gathering on Christmas Day... Had porkchop with potatoes and pumpkin. So angmoh... Lol...

Kelvin & Laura's Big Day

Woke up early... Feeling half dead... Lucky I had packed and arranged everything the night before.

The 4-colour drink shot turned out to be quite nice... exactly what Laura and I have envisioned.

My red bean popsicle is a success too. Sold all off. Haha...

Suffering from a bit of headache at the moment... result from no rest today. Ok..Time to zzz

Dropping

After a stagnant period in my weight loss plan aka body not losing any weight, I am ecstatic to say that I am losing weight again... Hoho... so far, another 1.5kg... erm... hopefully will drop a bit more.. crosses fingers

I restyled my hair today

I spent..err... about roughly 7 hours I think. A bit numb from the inactivity of body and too much massaging on the head.

Compared it with the one I did last year... this is a bit less curly... a bit worried that it might not last. Crosses fingers.

My head does feel lighter though... Lost a lot of hair today. :p

Epic Mess

I am living in a room filled with mess. I am starting to think perhaps I am becoming a hoarder. Collect more and more mess. LW came into my room today and I think she almost suffered from heart attack... She wants to throw away everything....

Hmm...and so I begin to pick and throw away stuff... err... As of now..I stopped..cos... I think my table looks presentable now. At least it is less messier than just now... :p

Even though I am no staff of Curtin Uni, but I attended their annual dinner. Glam la~

and there is the 5-day birthday celebration

I guess not many people can say that they celebrate their birthday for 5 days. I think I been increasing my birthday celebration each year. This year - 5 days. Sweat...Starting with the bbq at Chen's place. Meant to be a surprise but failed. Hohoho... Just happen that I am super active checking out my facebook that day. Chen made meesua.... Touched! Super yummy de meesua plus the hard boiled egg specially peeled by Elaine~

Day 2 is on Thursday night at ...Tiger Room (i think) at New Tanjong Seafood. Great food again. Ahh... my favourite prawns~ The cannot-taste-any-herb-just butter fried herbal squid~On the same night, 4 kilos of crabs were massacred in four flavours - dry butter, wet butter, black pepper and the original steamed. Since the wet butter is so darn nice, we finished off with a plate of wet butter prawns.... cholesterol to the max!
Next day next day... had a rather light lunch - Sushi King. Haha... The thing is that I discovered that I dun really want to go all crazy on the sushi-on-the-belt cause kind of expensive and I keep remembering that i had those for rm2 each on the Sushi Bonanza... Urgh..When is that going to happen again? I want to go all out on the sushi again.... T.T just for the record, the plates are of the consumption of 4 people, not me alone. I am not that glutton.
On the actual day....

Final day....actually it was to finish the leftover food from the bbq on day 1. Hehe... the meat is super marinated. Super flavoured.
I had my shake before sorting the pics and writing this post.... And.... I am sensing a lil stomach rumbling. Oh mien....

Internet down

Previously, I couldnt go online because of laptop problem. Once that is solved, I had a few days of internet usage....Then, no more. Internet connection gone. I finally called 100 and found out that it will be down for... another week. Sigh...

Missing in action

Errhhmmmm.... The event on the 17th... A rough draft has been created. Just need for the girls to gather for a short discussion on the finer details... ;)
