I feel like as if I am preparing to celebrate my birthday... Day after day of celebration...

Today I took a half day off...
Part reason of taking the leave is to fetch jinnwei but then I have gone to do facial wash and was late to fetch jinnwei...

I dun really like shopping in the town centre area. Cause I feel that the place is infested with la-kias...I felt that the fashion there is too cheap...Not really my style...But, LeeSia and QiAi wanted to shop there so I bo-pien lo...

After tat, we went to Bavaria to have our dinner. Not bad la...the price is a little too much cause I actually plan to save money and slim down but I spent too much money on food and eat too much already...

After walking around, looking around, we decided to part and go home...

So this is phase one of my celebration of my last few days of 21 years old...

Buay tahan liaw

Cannot stand liaw... I have to get my hair straighten!

My hair looks terrible, ok? Honestly la...

Fortunately, I got my dad to sponsor me..hehe! I persuade him to sponsor me around two months ago...Then only last week I went to ask for the price...Eh eh eh! Not bad o the pricing now...I got Rm200 from dad who didnt want to know the details of what I want to do (hehe!) and all I have to do now is to decide when and what kind I want...Should I go for the RM 300 one? RM 250 one? or RM 200 and save my own money?

But then, days ago, I was overwhelmed with a dilemma... I dun want to be copycat le...PinkPanther had her hair straighten last week...WTF?! Didnt she said she will straighten it in December?! WAD?! Tipu me o? Btw, I think she look hideous...so bad o me...When i saw her with her straight hair, after careful analysis, I think she deliberately straighten it easlier than what she said she planned because she found out that I wanted to straighten mine this month and so she can avoid being called a copycat and me becoming the copy cat...SO EVIL!

I have been blabbing about straightening my hair for a few months already...I will not be swayed from my decision just because of this...

Dun care la! I will go and straighten mine and I WILL look more beautiful than her...

Then give me another month and you will see a new me again..with red hair...going to dye it all red...Mum already ready the dye material so that she can dye it for me at home...

Hahaha! Got to book an appointment for this Saturday...get all pretty for my 22nd birthday.... hehe!

Friendship last forever

Some time ago... I came up with this theory...

If I dont make the effort, I will never have a healthy social life, long-lasting friendship and healthy life.

I think this one statement holds a lot of truth...

Firstly, social life...If I dont try to join in activities, where the heck am I supposed to be socialising? It will impossible for me to socialize if I stay at home all the time... Life will be so boring lo....

Second, healthy life...My bad habit is that I usually think of exercising but there is never a real effort to exercise...But I have changed...Yupe, yoga and badminton...More healthy, this is still an unknown fact though...haha

Thirdly, friendship...I realise that once I dont keep in touch with friends...they will become strangers the next time I meet them. I dont really know what to talk about anymore...It is such a pity cause we used to be such great friends...having no probem to find something to talk about...Then, on one occasion, I realised that I have sort of drifted apart from LeeSia. She felt it too. But I think that has been solved because we go to yoga together.

As for Irene...we hardly meet anymore. So, on Saturday, since I was so bored, I went to find her. Turns out that both of us have the same problem about weekends and I spent some quality time with her. So, I made a decision at that moment that I will come to find her every weekend, if possible, just so that we will not drift apart.

I guess hanging out with friends can actually release some of the stress accumulated at workplace...Cause I felt so much better after I went to hang with Irene...

Somehow, I am grateful that this three-year friendship didnt just vanish because we didnt meet up for such a long time....

Yileen...dun think that I have forgotten you! You better come to Miri when you are in Malaysia! We go limteh together...

Irene...I am serious about finding you every weekends o...

When I was still studying, I seldom have any illness...Always very healthy...

But right now, as a working person, I have been attacked by food poisoning twice this year...

Sleep problem

During the four-day long holidays and weekends, I have been waking up at 6.30am and slept the earliest at 11pm..basically just less than 6 hours sleep everyday....I mentioned that 11pm is the earliest but that is just the time I lie in my bed thinking, reading, looking for split ends...Guess it shud be almost 12 midnight by the time my eyes shut...

Then, i thought, since my body clock is so punctual everyday, I shuld have no problem waking up on monday for work...WRONG! I woke up at 7 am causing me to have a slight panic...

To make things worse, I not only felt sleepy during work but also headache after lunch time...Of course, two panadol did the job...

Today...I repeated the same process except this time, I had my alarm clock to wake me up and I have time to prepare things for lunch and breakfast.

Somehow, the panadol didnt work anymore...I have a pounding headache and I doze off a few times...No thanks to my colleague, PinkPanther for waking me up when I doze off...Geez...If i have that ten minutes dozing, I will be free from headache, i think...I end up trying to sleep in the stuffy warm toilet...I felt more uncomfy after that...

Not very sure what is wrong with me...maybe I shud sleep earlier...

PinkPanther had her hair straighten when she return to work on monday...Hmm...wat else is new about her? oh! she is no longer wearing her specs...Somehow, i think it doesnt really suit her. She looks much better with her specs on.

Right now, I try not to think of her as a nuisance...It is pretty bad to constantly think of her so badily. Her every move is somehow wrong to us...It must be her first impression to us that has not changed yet...Too bad...Haha

Hmm..today, I got two comments about me..
Comment one: I look paler nowadays...Marge arent sure if it is because I have become fairer or I simply lack of blood so I look pale...hehe..

Comment two: i look so cute in this pic that I took during the bbq party at Hawaii beach...so i decided to crop it and put in the blog for all to see...Me very cute...LOL

Another gathering

The day after that crazy night, on Hari Raya First Day, Karen smsed me telling me that Harry suggested that we have steamboat at my place tonight (Raya 1st day). As soon as I read the sms, I thought 'Crazy ar! Another makan again! And when did I even offer my place for steamboat?!'

No way will I agree to that. So we didnt...

Next day, Raya 2nd day, as I was window shopping in Parkson with Xuan, Karen smsed me telling me to have an online EGM at that very moment...SHIT! window shopping la...Then she told me that the steamboat will be at night on that day at Miss Tieh's place. Ok lo...me no problem one...But it was changed to an EGM instead...steamboat dinner become steamboat lunch...

That night...Karen, Miss Tieh, Mr Wee, Harry, Chi Ing, Joanna, Jong, Carol and I were at Miss Tieh's spare and empty house. At first, we were very seriously talking about the food we want to eat and who will be at the steamboat lunch. Then the talk strayed away from the main topic after a short time...Basically..we kept on talking about something else except for the main topic, steamboat...most on the things are on the things that happen in the office...I left with Karen at 1 am...No drinks are involved during this meeting...

The next day...I went shopping with Karen, Laura and LingJiun...Then we went to prepare all the stuff at Miss Tieh's place...When we look at all the food we have prepared, it doesnt seems much..In fact, we are below our budget by half...hehe...we have an attendance of 14 ppl.
Dont see the food like nothing o...everyone is full...and the food is almost finished except for a pack of vermicelli and one plastic bag of chillies...
After that, we all gathered at the living room..enjoying watermelon...Then, Karen, Harry, Laura, Josephine and I played '21 points.' Punishment is drinking Carlsberg beer. Laura and Harry drank the most..We also have red wine but those who drank beer din have any because we shudnt mix it together...
At 5 pm, I left with Karen...On the way home, I felt so tired...But somehow, I still managed to go over to Lynn's place to do some leg exercise...and then sent my dad's fren to airport and then after a shower, go out to window shopping at Parkson..have a drink at San Francisco Coffee with Xuan and Lynthia...Home by 10.15pm...Bed by 11 pm after some leg exercise and Sidney Sheldon reading on my bed.

Crazy night

One certain night in October, Joanna, Laura and Gohyie decided that they wanted to have a Crab dinner in November by themselves.

One certain afternoon in early November, Laura and Gohyie decided to have an invited-guests-only dinner party at Gohyie's place.

However, things didn't go smoothly as the invited guests can't seems to decide unanimously on the choice of food. Finally, Gohyie remembered this Crab dinner appointment and mentioned it to Laura. It was then decided that we should just have the Crab dinner instead.

Surprisingly, this idea was well-accepted and the decision (on who are going and what is on the menu) was made quickly in one single EGM (Eng-eng General Meeting). More fascinating, the planning only take two days.

This speedy decision has once again convinced me that any plan that need more than one week to decide and argue will never come true. Take example, my failure to organise a group trip to KL...urgh!

Anyway, on the eve of Hari Raya, eleven of us went to New Tanjung Seafood. Us are Laura, Joanna, ChiIng, LingJiun, Miss Tieh, Josephine, Mr Wee, Harry, Alex, Karen and I. We had Stir Fried bilin, Claypot Tofu, Sui-Yu (tortoise?), Black Pepper Crab, Stir Fried Crab with Egg and Tomyam Fish. Delicious! Scrumptious! Yummy!

Too bad none of us brought our digicam. Otherwise, the pics of the delicious food we had will be displayed here for MY viewing pleasure. hehe...Yes, MY viewing pleasure....

After we attacked all the food, the dilemma was whether to go to Island, Balcony, or karaoke. Somehow, my place become part of the choices as well. Final decision is to go to my place first then to some other place because it is far too early to go to the other three places.

At my place, there are tv-watching, internet-surfing, card-playing and drinking.

Card playing...my dinner is turned into the gambling table. NO MONEY WAS INVOLVED, ONLY ALCOHOL! We played six different games the whole night.

First game...no idea what is it called. But it is quite easy to understand. Somehow, none of us is willing to take the risk so we decided to switch game.

Second game...does not involve cards. "007 Bang! Wah!" A lot of laughing and we arent playing it very well. So switch game again.

Third game...does not involve cards again. "Calling name" Each person donned the name of the person on his or her right. When the name is called, the person who donned the name has to called out 'Wah!' and called out the next name. After a few rounds, we all took a break.

Fourth game...After the break, none of us wanted to play game that require us to use our voice box so back to the cards. "Picking cards" requires the ones who pick the card type that has been specified before the card-picking process to be punished.

Fifth game..."21 point" is the longest game we played. Each person took turn to become the banker.

Sixth game..."Cho-Tai-Di" is the last game and only four person are playing.

What is gambling if there is no price to pay?Since none of us wanted to use money ( reasons are gambling money is illegal and we don't want to become broke), we resorted to use alcohol. Harry's Absoluto Citron and my Chivas. By the time we reached the sixth game, we dont have any green tea or pepsi left to mix with Chivas so we drank it raw. How much we drink depends on the number of points we still have in our hand...example, three points means three seconds of pouring...

No one was drunk but the initial plan to go to somewhere, when the time is more appropriate, is abandoned. After the sixth game, we watched tv and joked around.

This is when I decided that I need to have some pictures to remember this night by. So, i dragged three persons to take ugly photos with me...Haha!

The reason why Karen and I have two pics is because Harry was trying to distort the pic we are taking by waving the empty Absoluto bottle in front fo the digicam.

Another explanation to why the pics taken arent very sharp is because it was too dark (forgot to switch the flash on) and I am not very good at fixing dark photos.

The fun ended at 2 something a.m.

Morning-after: I slept at 3 a.m. and I woke up at 6.30 a.m. I can't sleep so I wake up to shower and wash my hair.

Oh! Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Went visiting with my aunt and then with my uncle and family. Met with Zairynn, my Primary Six classmate at the first open house I went.

Notice that the Malays wore these really nice big earrings and/or nice big shiny necklace with big shiny pendant. Something that I really want to have but can never find or like when I see one in town.

P/S: An Indian roti canai chef saw an accident involving a hit-and-run by a car. The police asked the Indian chef whether he saw the car plate number as he was flipping the roti canai. The Indian chef said 'Ada, nampak. Itu... Lapan tidak sampai satu tiga sangat dekat empat tiada satu tiada.'

November girls...haha...All born in November...One of the good things that my workplace is that we celebrate birthdays...But why this happen on 28th Oct? Cause Audrey's (the one in red) birthday is on the 1st and because it is Harry's final day in Andy Chia...


The birthday cake...hehe...no candles though...
Cause everyone is of a different age...so, dun bother lo...It is a blueberry cake...Not bad le... Ohya! we also have lunch at the office...

Yeah!

At 9.15 this morning, I had my very first CPA exam...CPA108 Reporting & Professional Practice...60 MCQs and 5 structured questions...It ended at 12.30 pm.

Sat right at the front...I am number three...Laura is number two and Kelvin Chung is number three....

Susan Hee is there too...so is Yun Chin. Hmm..who else....the rest, I dun really know their name but I seen them before...

Oh...Laura and I are the last to arrive...haha...at 9 am and everyone is there waiting...Blush...blush...

After the exam, honestly, I felt nothing...there is no sense of relief that the exam is over...Maybe because I am too relaxed before the exam starts.
Laura and I went to Boulevard Food Court to have Teppanyaki lunch...I had Honey Chicken set while Laura had the Cheese Chicken set...Then, we walked around in Boulevard and then took a wu-liau ride the elevator up to the top floor before going all the way down to go home...

Feeling a bit headache...I think the fatigue finally sets in after the stressing out from the exam... i cant wait to sleep but without me realising, time flies and I need to prepare dinner right after this...sigh...

Tomorrow is back to work...

Dead meat

I am so dead....
Still got like a whole mountain to read and I keep on falling asleep when I start reading....And once I do something else, PING! I am wide awake....This is really really bad le...and furthermore, I think I am getting fatter by minutes le...No Kidding!

I took seven days leave from office and i spend the first three days doing NO studying....been doing my dad's stuff, mum's stuff, grandma's stuff and none of my own....

I need some serious luck to get thru this exam and to pass it, of course....

Recently, I have been reading this certain blog...It is very interesting...Well, what the hell...might as well say it out...I am jealous by then way of how some ppl live their life....That certain blog has, in a way, influenced me to be more serious in losing some weight....to seriously consider on how to improve myself...I hope the influence will last though...cause i tend to change my mind a lot...

Recently, i made another one of my din-go-thru-my-big-brain promise...a promise of a dinner at my place...curry chicken, black pepper beef, sweet sour pork ribs, mixed veggie, cola chicken....hmmm....shouldnt be a problem.... shudder....

got to stop blogging now cause i need to study...and think if i really want to go to uncle's place to have lunch....

Ice cream man

Guess what? that is the look of my car boot....Remember my poor car article? Well...I din realise that I have a flood situation going on in my car boot until now. Sigh....pretty from the outside, rusty from the inside...Fortunately the damage isnt too big. the culprit for the flood is a leak from the backlight. Shit!

As I was trying to savage whatever that is left of my car boot, I heard the ice cream man went past my house.

The music goes something like 'lolly lolly lolly..bla bla bla...' OK, I have no idea what the music is about....But that is not the point. The point is that I suddenly thought of this extraordinary ice cream. This extraordinaire actually walk around Miri (in the town area (still town when I last saw him) & in housing estates) with his ice cream cart ringing his bell all the way to get ppl's attention...Can u imagine in your mind how he can push his cart up the steep hill to go to Bumiko & Hilltop? I was amazed to see him walk past my house one certain fine day....

The first and the last time I bought an ice cream from him is outside Stco area. His ice cream is damn expensive..I cant remember exactly how much...but it is very nice. I dunno what brand is it but it is good...

Which leads me to the point of wondering where is he now? It seems to be years already I havent spotted him anywhere. Has he finally retired?

Too bad no one is following his footsteps. It will make an awesome historical feel for Miri City... :P

Stco school concert

Went to StCo School concert on 25th September...

Kinda of lonely when I went there but fortunately, some of my ex-students come to accompany me..phew!

Lemme see...the night starts with the performance by school band...then a song solo by Michelle Liong...erm...She sort of went out of pitch..haha..Then it is an Arabian Fusion Dance by Sanjeet and Suneeta...Woo! Shake your booty! It is not bad la...But i always have the thought that dancing is always repetitive...Get kind of boring after some time...the nest performance is also a dance called Dance on Flower which I thought was boring, meaningless and suprisingly (I heard from my ex-student) they won a trophy for this dance....Then it is Chinese drum beating..erm..nothing interesting about that...Then, it is the award-winning drama...About two friends...I saw a video of it before but wasnt in full version. This time, they have changed a little bit of the plot to make it fresh to the audience. From Pink flamingoes to Blue Hippos..hahah...Oh! one very interesting performance is the Black Peacock....




Black Peacock by chin Ming Yang...His body is damn flexible and soft...Very very interesting...

then it is a singing performance by three girls..erm..then another singing performance by two girls...then another singing performance by a rock band....all these singing performance were...terrible....terrible...terrible...

The modern dance by Diana and the geng...was ok...My bro told me that they have specially paid for a choreaographer to choreograph the dance for them..

then another performance by another rock band...which wasnt too bad...in fact, it is better than the rest of the singing performances.
Then the first part of Romeo and Juliet.

That is Juliet, Juliet's cousin and Romeo...the story is kinda of weird la..Cause it din really show how Romeo and Juliet meet..or did they?

another singing trios...terrible la...another tradisional dance..meaningless...another modern dance...meanngless...another dance again...And Finally , something more interesting...Romeo and Juliet part two...


"Juliet, I dun understand what you said just now. But the words sounds so beautiful to me...I have something to tell you too...Your eyes are like fishball...blablabla...What? Fishball? The script cannot be more original than that liaw...

And they start singing the duet song that Hillary and that actor guy sang in Lizzie McGuire the movie...

then they start to dance to the music of..erm..that song from Lizzie McGuire the movie...

A weird guy wearing a bucket on his head...
Oh...There is something that makes this concert different than the Riam concert i went to...It is the commercial breaks...StCo has short sketches to make the time more passable when they are clearing up the stage...

Finally the night ended with a performance by the choir...not bad not bad...

Overall, it is ok la...performances are half good half terrible...No wonder they did it in the school hall...not much finances goes into it...and the terrible performances are really terrible...

Hair straightening product!

Hehe.... My mum suddenly become so generous and bought me a hair straightener... RM165...Vidal Sassoon...
Haha...Never thought she will buy me one...Cause she is always very kiam with her money...
But I am still trying to learn how to straighten my own hair la...Haiya...My hair is like super thick le... A lot of hair le...Every hair stylist told me that I have a lot of hair...I always think that when I go to straighten my hair at salon, it is worth it cause they need to use a large amount of the hair straigthening product on me...
If this hair straightener can help me to achieve a better manageable hair, then, i can save my time and money to go to salon to do my hair liaw...hehe...

the centre pic of the bottom row is about my cracked bumper...hehe...first crack is made by me (again) when i reversed the car into a tree.... :P it also damaged the backlight as well...the second crack (worse accident) was my dad's fault (ok, not exactly his) cause someone just hit the car and left...DAMN THAT BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU HIT AND RUN! the back light is also further damaged by the second accident...which reminds that the area is sort of cursed...Everytime accident, that area always kena one...

Hehe...No worries liaw..My wira is getting a paint job and a new bumper...and possibly a new backlight as well la...It will look new again! hahaha....i promise i will be extra careful...

The reason why my phone credit is always low

I often help my dad to order stuff for his work but i was especially pissed off when ordered this copper filter brush because it costs me a lot of phone credits...My newly loaded phone credit is reduced to a single digit credit in just one day ( only two calls to KL)....AARRGGHHH....

After being deprived of good high-heeled shoes for quite sometimes, I finally spend some of my hard-earned cash in a shoes...Something that i shud have done ages ago before I spent all my money on things that I cannot remember spending on....



After a few weeks, I dun think this shoes is very good la...It makes me walk funny...Kind of slippery...Hahaha....I am so picky... :P

What will you do if you trapped a mice in a trap? I probably wouldnt do anything 'cause I wouldnt want to touch it at all. I remember whenever my grandpa trapped a mice in a trap, he would drown it in the drain before removing it from the trap...My grandma did the same thing although she felt very disgusted by it...But recently, I learnt a new way to kill a mice...My uncle suggested to let the mice out in the sun to die of heat....The maid put the mice on the top of the gatepost...and here is the evidence...

I wonder if the mice really die cause I din see it after I came back from work...

Temporary tattoo...the last time I had a henna done on me, I was really unhappy with what I have after it dried and peeled off...The whole pattern is light and is gone within hours, not weeks as promised by the guy who did it on my shoulder....
I give it another try again, at Curtin Carnival again...this time, I am happy with it....But I rub it off with baby oil after a few days...Cause it is fading and i dun like the way it faded differently at different sections of my hands...in another word, not pretty anymore la...

'But why not use just UBS? It is so much easier?' Argh! Oiii....get it into your head la!! How many times do I have to repeat myself?! Ppl do like that then you just do like that la...Why so lo-so?!

'Oh...I eat out too much already...' What kind of stupid reason is this to give to refuse going to an annual dinner? Oh..forgive me..not stupid...arrogant is more like it...Are you trying to say that you are so rich that you always eat out so you dun even care to go to an annual dinner with your new colleagues? I cant believe this person at all....

'Oh...Big companies have a lot of things...I seen it before...Really a lot...They even have proper book-keeping...' Aiks...What are you trying to say here? Someone told her off on one fine day....I am not sure if she knows it or not...But hearing how she was told off makes me feel so good...haha...

A thought hits me and I feel....devastated....i still got a lot of things to read for my CPA exam...shit!

hmm....firstly....need to tell all my oh-so-faithful readers that I will be posting a lot of pics...describing stuff...stuff that i have been collecting and thinking when I am deprived of my pc and streamyx connection...hopefully the thoughts dont expire though...

no....my pc is still in the hospital...I wonder when will the 'doctor' treat my pc....

I am now at cybercafe....cant stand staying at home cause my brother has taken over the tv....he is playing his playstation now...and i am left with nothing to do...so i come out to cure my internet itch...hehe...

work been busy...fortunately... i dread it if i have nothing to do...

yoga...been taking yoga classes.... increasing my body flexibility and balance...

badminton... played badminton with my colleagues last saturday... sore muscles the very next day...haiyaks...

dun really wanna go offline now but the shops are closing...

Cocktail or Mocktail?

Last night was Lynnwei's final night in Miri....after a big dinner, I went out with lynnwei and yuan to drink....

I realised that both lynnwei and i are not drinkers...we have very limited of alcohol...But i dun think that it is a bad thing anyway...

After rounding the town, we finally decided to go and have cocktails to relax....Marriott...

I had a pina colada...not too bad...the waiter recommended it...but i think i could have handle a more alcoholic drink...hehe...lynnwei maaged to order a non-alcoholic drink which she later tradwe it with yuan's more alcoholic drink...haha! she claims that the drink she ordered is not as nice as what yuan order...haha....

It leads me to conclude that Lynnwei and i are actually not a bad drinker...we can handle stronger drink..i think...hehe....what is stronger to us is probably a weak drink for usual drinkers...

Farewell, Lynnwei...Till we meet again next year...ganbatte ne!

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

That's the words shouted by our Father of Independence on the 31st August 1957...

Last night, around 9 sumthing pm, I went out...There are a lot of ppl in the bicycle and motorcycle on the road carrying Jalur Gemilang...travelling at a dangerous speed and route...The realisation of Independence Day hits me. For days, I have been thinking to get a flag to put on my car to show some kind of patriotism....but I never get to do it...haha...Then, it turns out that I am a bit too late. So I decided on the road at that moment that I don't give a damn about it. The little flag pole on the car is a fad. Those who still have those flag poles are....a bit too much for my taste...
But, I do admire those who carry the flag around town on their bikes...Big flag...

Commercials to promote Hari Merdeka (while promoting their brand name) by the big companies...this year, a commercial of some company hits me as irrelevant. Tolong menolong...what does that have to do with Hari Merdeka....no idea...I dun get it...those who gets it, pls tell me about it...The other commercial about sending ppl to England to be trained as teachers..now...tat is something to do with Hari Merdeka...There is the link to Hari Merdeka...It makes me wonder though..if they really did film all those things at that time...did they?

I am back...

Just came back from Brunei...A three days trip...Surprisingly tiring...I have so much ideas on what I want to blog the whole time I was in Brunei but somehow, at this very moment, I cant remember what is that I wanted to say...But anyway, here goes nothing...

Car Breakdown

Have I become a jinx? The car broke down on both my journey to and from Brunei...I have to wait for one hour plus for the mechanic to come and fix the car...Damn..

The Maid




A new addition to the horror movies collection...This is about the horror adventure of a Filipino maid during the chinese 7th month in Singapore. If you have watch the movie, I want to share my opinion...NEVER step on the ashes of the hell money for that will cause you to see dead ppl...Cause that is what happen to Rosa. She stepped on the ashes and she starts to see the dead son & all other ghosts. Then, all the other rules applies...Never swim after dark ( better dun swim at all)...Dun turn around when you thought someone call you...Dun talk to strangers on a stretch deserted road...rules like that...Scary o....
I din watch some part of the movie cause I was in the toilet... Yupe..I was...The whole place does look scary as it is all in red...i mean the hallway to the toilet, not the toilet...and it was empty...
The movie was sort of scary but surprisingly i laugh most of the time...cause the ppl i watched the movie with were very funny ppl...
Oh...this movie is also the first movie i watch at The Mall...

Bookworm

I become quite a bookworm. First book is still Da Vinci Code...I slowly reading throught he bok cause I really want to savour the book...Thinking deep thoughts when I read the book...But I cant give any review now cause I am too tired to think about it...But, when I say a review, it usually means a long summary of the book...haha...
The second book is Trump: The Art of The Deal. When I first look at the book, I sort of dread the thought of reading it, thinking that it will be so uninteresting. But I was wrong. The book is really exciting. It is amazing how a person can own such intelligence and wealth. The book also makes me wonder how is the taxation system in US is like.

Early Morning Walks

My mum woke me up at 5 am in the morning to get me to walk around the mosque. There are quite a number of ppl who walk around the mosque early morning. The first morning, I walked alone while the second morning, I walked with my dad. The third morning, I chickened out. I told my mum the night before that I dun want to walk the next day. Reason being that my legs hurt...but i dun think it is because of the morning walks...Want to know why? Read on...

Foot Massage

I went there just to accompany my mum. But I end up getting a foot massage as well. I remember the last time I had a foot and hand massage, the only distinct problem I had was my spine. This foot massage shows that I have a lot of problems with my health. Every single area she massaged hurts like hell. My spine, ears, nose, throat, intestines, hormone level...stuff and stuff...oh gosh...My body is in a mess. after the massage, my foot really tires out...So, I think the reason why my legs hurt is because of this massage...

Well, that is pretty much what i did apart from the normal stuff lo...

Another weekend....

It starts with my on-going chapped lips and ulser... yupe...i drank one hot cup of coffee with ginseng on one hot day and i have chapped lips and ulser even since then...



I have such a busy day on saturday working...waiting for the time to pass... I cant wait to go home...Cause I will be going to brunei with irene and davis..going there for the fun of it....2pm to 745pm...tis is wad i have from my journey to brunei...apart from that delicious meal...

A busy...Busy...Busy Weekend

Firstly, I have been working half day on Saturday morning...pretty tiring liaw and yet, since i havent been keeping in touch with irene for a long time, I drop her visit at the Boulevard parking lot and spend my whole afternoon and night there....Nothing much happens as the real competition that Davis is joining only going to start tomorrow...So, on saturday, basically, you got to tune ur audio...try out the audio...sit int he car...get some air-conditioning going on...(to know more about what is exactly happening there at the parking lot, please go to this site ). And then, on Sunday, real competition starts...

I had a really nice long chat with Irene...It has been a long time since we done that...Really appreciate the time we spent these two days...really relieve me of a lot of burdens...haha..as if i have a lot of burdens... :P

Sunday...after i drop jinnwei off, I went over to Boulevard again...Then, Irene told me that she will be driving the car to the competition camp...Gosh...Intense...Below is a pic of Irene getting very nervous...


Honestly, I was nervous as well...But have to give moral support to Irene to drive the car into the competition camp...So, Irene, I wasnt that cool actually..haha...Below is the pic of what it looks like when we were waiting for our turn to drive in...


The crowd at the camp is well..supportive? They are surprised to see a girl drive the car...haha...This audio show is a guy-thing...To see a girl is abnormal...To see a girl driving a car with such a powerful audio is shocking...

The weather on Saturday was really great...not too hot...But on Sunday, it is a completely different weather...It is super hot and we even have haze. Gosh...I can still smell that burn hazy smell although i am in the house now....Pics to show that IT IS HAZY!



After that audio show, I sent my brother home and then after a shower, I am out again...

Off to Imperial Mall....Have a date with a friend...A friend that i really love to go shoppng with because she is a great shopper. She have a body figure that is almost the same with mine...So she understand how i feel when I go shopping for clothes or shoes or anything. But she is cool about everything that I know I have a lot to learn from her although she is younger than me and she used to be my student...Gasp...I only bought this one thing that I have been thinking to tbuy for such a long time...and finally...i bought it...
hahaha...yupe, i have it now...and I am happy...

After I sent her home, home it is...then, my cousin's crib to watch Bewitched....

this is certainly one long weekend for me...I feel so tired..and I am supposed to feel rejuvenated after the weekend...damn....

A night of Atmosphere.....

Lack of skill in communication? yes..i really think so...I seriously lack of communication skill.

My brain is not empty...it is full of stuff....but...why? why? why? WHY CANT I SAID OUT WHAT I THINK?

Sitting at Atmosphere Cafe, listening to the conversation...i realise how little i know of stuff...I dun have the living abroad experience...And most of the conversation is about the ppl they meet when they are away from home. I only get to know ppl who are in curtin and further more, with my lack of communication skill, i dun get to know many ppl...I only see from the outside side...sigh...

I feel so ...erm...like a katak under the tempurung?

Scaredy me

I think I am easily scared...really...I am not kidding...

Ever since...Tale of Two Sisters...which I watched because I thought I was going to some English action movie, I became a scaredy person.

One little action in the movie which isnt supposed to be scary at all will cause me to jump in my seat. --> which cause the person sitting next to me to smile and be amused at my reaction...

One little word can cause me to feel so anxious that my head will swim ---> my brain must be lacking a lot of oxygen...

Recalling an incident in the conference room in my office...My client is so tall and huge and sitting right opposite of me. Slowly he lean forward smiling at me...I can only smile back, not knowing what to say, because i was only there to hear everything so that I can work on the stuff later...Then, he said 'You made me rush to the bank the other day just for the payment'. My reaction? Eyes widen...mind racing...Did I do wrong when I told him to rush to the bank the other day? .....Then, my senior stepped in to save me. I didnt do anything wrong...I saved him from paying more money..phew...Why didnt I think of that? My senior even told him not to scare me...He laughed and said he was only kidding...Phew...RELIEF....

Really la..very intimidating to see him lean forward and said that...My brain was having a swim when my senior stepped in to save me...Dizzy dizzy dizzy...Definitely lack of valuable oxygen...

Please...dun scare me anymore...

And if u want me to watch horror movie at the cineplex, dun ask me to buy the tickets...cause I wouldnt!

Riam School Concert

Have a nice time watching Riam School Concert last night...Lynnwei bought the tickets to watch Riam School Concert at Miri City Centre...or what I always called as Sivic Centre.
The night started with a performance by the band with four singers singing two songs...erm...Too loud....Then...a dance routine .... then, a girl singing 'honey' by Wang Xin Ling. Respect for her. So brave to sing and dance by herself on the stage...then then...choral speaking...when i suddenly heard a voice that is so familiar coming from my back...Then it struck me. that is my boss's voice. Mind exploded. He is behind me?!! Scarily, I turned to the back and yupe, it is my boss and his wife, i presumed. After managing to say 'hi, Mr Chia', i turned my attention to the front stage...squirmed in my seat. Din dare to do anything drasticily embarassing... carefully watching my own movement so that I wouldnt embarass myself... :P

The rest of the concert was ok...Can see the mistakes they do...some of them did very good...some made mistakes...Din finish watch the show because it is kind of getting late and so, we left.

Their english and chinese are pretty weird to my ears. Too much stressing on the pronounciation. When i recap the way they pronounce the words to one of my colleagues this morning, she has goose bumps all over her. hehe...I think it is a common thing that happens to those ppl who are chinese educated.. .Or am I becoming too Englishish...?


Drum beating performance after the opening ceremony.... One of the drum beater nearly tripped to the floor when they are doing their routine..hoho...


Classical dance routine inspired by 'The heavenly fairies'...a really classical chinese movie. They really look like they are floating around with their long sashes....but one disadvantage, if they are not careful, the sashes will get stuck to their headpiece and they have to float to the backstage to remove it before floating back to the stage to continue the dance routine..haha...Another thing i noticed is that the dance routine just repeat over and over again...erm...i guess dancing is like that...repeating the movement over nad over again...

Woke up late this morning..feeling unwell...maybe cause i sleep late last night...or the show just tires me out..Still have to go to wrok...argh...can i dun go? Well, i went anyway...The boss did asked me did i enjoy myself last ngiht or how was the show...hmm...cant remember which question he asked me...I asked him wad happen after i left...guess what? he said i missed the best part..damn....

My new bag....work bag...haha...bought it at Parkson....really like the bright look of the bag...haha...
