My Hectic Yet Relaxing Week: Monday

Although I have complained earlier about me having to take care of the students half day for another teacher, it has ended well. I really felt that I have nothing to do. The only thing that is interesting on that day is how i realised that I have such a big mouth. My big mistake. I told G that I will give G a surprise the day before. Unfortunately, G doesnt consider me showing up at Chung Hua as a surprise so G was really unhappy. So, I cracked my brain to think of something that will measure up to G's level of surprise. Hmm...so there is it...my few-years old christmas bear that I never find of any use...put together with the simple chinese charm that i made a few years ago which i put on the shelf to collect dust...wrapped both in envelope style...safely secured with six staples...Then, I get G's friend to tell me which is G's bag as there are, well, almost three hundred bagpacks in that aircond hall of Chung Hua. Secretly, I placed G's surprise in his bag. After that, i just enjoyed the angry/unsatisfied look on G's face. After a few minutes there, I realised that there is nothing to do so I went home planning to come back again when it is almost time for the students to go home. As I was neopet-ting (a new term i learn from lynnx today), I received a sms from G that he has found his surprise. When I went back to see all the students go home, I also sent G home together with his drum, which I have forgetten the exact name of it, and a bass drum. What is a bass drum? It is that huge drum that usually a big guy will carry in a band. That ends my Monday.

I am tired

Yeah! Holidays time!

Boo! I still have to work....essays to mark...all five classes...strenuous....tiring...

Not only that, I have to go and watch over the school band at Chung Hwa having their very first music camp in Miri. I was cheated to do extra shift...but I am ok with it...Wish that Naga (the GERKO teacher) has not aimed me but he did and he achieved his purpose while I have to suffer....

Doing nothing and doing something...which is better? Doing something...Doing nothing is a torture if u are outside ur home. Because doing nothing at home is a privilege that u can only enjoy at home...urgh! I have another day of watching to do...URGH!!

One Night Out

Friday night...
I dun like to go out alone...I find it too depressing...I need to find ppl to accompany to shop around and tat person is certainly NOT jinnwei...He is too not my type of person i want to shop with...

Firstly...I have a student whom i have been teaching since last year...in total, I have been his teacher for three months...Whoa! that's long...haha...Anyway, only recently he has become quite close to me...I am sure all of you will ask me to not to get too close with him...I will...trust me...but not in a short time...This boy is really sensitive...His family spoiled him but at the same time, they have also let him to take care of himself...Thus causing him to feel that his parents does not care of him....Since he has treated me as a close friend fo his, I will need to take time to put him off slowly...so that he will not be hurt...Guess what? He is the run-away-from-home prone. So have to be really careful dealing with him....

So...anyway....i have went out with him and his neighbour on friday night. We went to play bowling...something i have not done for years...The bowling alley has changed some of its things...the pins, the shoes...I strike once...Then, we also play games in the arcade....There is this game that made me realise that my hands and eyes coordination has problems...Urgh!... Have some fun anyway...

Not a bad friday night after all...But i think i am more of the type of people who sit at the nice expensive cafe drinking coffee instead of the ppl who hang around arcade...Does this means I have grown more mature?

MSSM

Weee......!!

MSSM is finally over. I have certainly work up a tan even though i have tried to protect myself from the sun.

My group mates, whom i complained of earlier, have turned out to be quite a relaxed group of people that I enjoyed been with. Though we did not follow the entire process of being a pegawai...for example, we only use one set of flags instead of two...we give extra rest time to the participants...But overall, the experience with them was fun.

I feel grateful to be with them cause my this fren who is in lempar cakera was suffering. She was been blamed for not understanding the rules and put the wrong flag up. Lompat tinggi here...we are so relaxed...hehe....i guess i am lucky after all...

four days of been together...

whoa...

thank you, my group mates...

Constantine

I went to watch this movie today. Enjoyed the movie. Not bad o. Below are two scenes that can be seen in the movie and the lines that they said. Haha...I just happen to remember the lines... :p

"Welcome to my life" as he blew smokes into the glass...suffocating the spider with smoke. Dun worry. The spider is alive as the main actress releases it minutes later...

"Holy water...?!" A cross was dropped into the water tank so that the water will become holy water. Then, Keanu Reeves burn the water sprinkler so that the holy water will shower the demon-possessed human to reveal their true self. As you can see from the pic, the girl's face is showing signs of demon. hoho...

A movie worth watching indeed.

Three "Busy and Unfortunate" Weeks

yes...

busy and unfortunate...

The second week is nearly to its end. I can't wait for these three weeks to be over.

Week One: Ulcer at the hardest to reach but quite important part of my mouth. Sometimes I wish i have digicam so that i can take pics of myself to show you readers but I dun have. Anyway, the ulcer is pretty bad (urgh...). Then, on Sunday, I went to traffic game practice and when i was trying out the route for the first time as a pedestrian, I tripped and fell. Bruise at my left palm. Red patch on my left knee. Small bloody scratches on my right palm. And finally one 10-cents size wound on my right knee. Very very unfortunate!

Week Two: Ulcer is getting worse. Accompany my students to join the traffic game's law test and then send jinnwei to LEO meeting and then back to see my students again and then fetch jinnwei and then send jinnwei's back home before finally going home. On my way to fetch jinnwei, I received a call from MTV saying that i have been shortlisted as the one of the five finalist of this contest of MTV. The condition to win this contest now is that I must be able to fly this Friday (meaning there is still four days). What is the prize of this contest? The winner will be flying to London in style on an all expenses paid trip to meet John Travolta at the MTV UK TRL studios in Leicester Square, and then go with the star studded cast to the glamorous premiere and dance the night away at the after party! BUT BUT BUT I have not make my international passport. I have no idea that there is such thing called emergency passport. I should have told the person that I cant confirm now and ask her to call my the next day so that I can go and ask Immigration to ask about the emergency passport. This is so unlucky!! Then, I get busy with MSSM. I become the Pegawai for Lompat Tinggi. The pegawai working with me are really slow lo...They arent willing to carry the stuff. They want people to help them. In my opinion, if the organiser is not doing a good job, then the pegawai should do the work voluntarily. Other than that, they are also ignorant of my opinion. When i told them the mattress should be placed at a spot so that the athletes wouldnt face the sun when they made the jumps. But guess what they said. "Never mind la. nothing one la. It is them who jump, not us. Never mind" What is this? I cant believe them! How could they be so selfish? Only until the field referee came over to have a look and told them to change it, then, they are willing to change it. Today is the second day and guess what? for these two days, the ones who wrote the marks sat at the spot where the sun will face their backs and i have to stand at the spot where the sun will shine directly to my face. (my face o...dark lo...). There are two more days to be under the sun o...Traffic game is near and this sunday is traffic game opening ceremony but the students still not sure if they are joining. Why? because the competition is on monday and it falls on the periodic test. If they join the game, they will miss the test and they wouldnt have marks and class position. As getting class position is so important, they are in a dilemma whether to join or not. sigh..

Week Three: Traffic game is on monday and so is periodic test. Periodic test duration is five days. I will be busy marking papers and after marking the papers, i will have to compile all the results to see who will get what position in my class. Currently, i have four classes of essays to mark. I dread this a lot o....

Sigh...my week, so far, has been so busy that I am very tired o.

Jay Chow's and Patty Hou's Romance...

Love and relationship seems to be the main topic of my blog...But this blog is due to the influence of lynnwei. These two person relationship is the hottest thing now. They denied that there is anything between them but they were photographed so mushily together in Tokyo during the Chinese New Year's holidays trip. I am happy for them. One hot artist and one hot news broadcaster. Whoa!

Hmm...shopping for clothes...

Is she saying 'no'? hehe... :p

Let's sail together...Muahs...

Wishing them all the best!

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

This movie came out in 1999. A really old movie that really has made it big. TV3 has been showing it at least three times for i have (tried) to watch it three times.

It starts when this guy (above) came to this girl's house to learn music as this girl's dad is a really great musician. Then, this girl fell in love with this guy. But because this guy is not a pure Indian (hmmm...not true though. The actor is really an Indian), therefore they are not given blessing and the guy was chased out of the girl's house. The girl's dad get another guy (below) as his girl's husband.

The husband finally knows that the wife is in love with someone else and brought her to Italy to reunite her with her love despite of his family's protest. In the process of searching for the girl's love, the girl found his husband to be so understanding and considerate. Finally, the time has arrived. The girl finally met her love. But, there is no more love. The girl has fallen out of love with her old love. She is now truly in love with her own husband. The first guy gave his blessing. The girl goes back to her husband. The end...

Ok...Dont go thinking that I love to watch Hindi movie. I just happened to watch this movie (only the first hour) a few years ago and watched the same part again last year. Very frustrating as I find the plot and the scenery in the movie are so fascinating and I cant seems to finish watching the movie. The sceneries are at the really cool looking palace and then Italy (Ooo....).Even this time, I have not watched the whole movie as I was out to fetch people to tuition and stuff. Thankfully I was able to watch the ending this time. Phew...

De-Motivated

Holidays are supposed to rejuvenate one's spirit so that when it is time to battle again, one will be full of energy to give one's all.

BUT

why do I feel demotivated? The dread, when I wake up early morning every morning, is back...I dread going to school everyday...Abelle suffered of headache two days in a row and went home early from school...I, somehow, wish that i have the headache so badly that i can go home and sleep. Doctor concluded that in Abelle's brain, something is not working so it causes headache. We funnily called it 'traffic jam in Abelle's brain.' Lynthia concluded that it is due to Abelle's phobia of school and she subconsciously summoned the headache and thus she can go home early...

Everyday facing the students...it reminds me of how fun it was to study and have no other worries...

I wish I am still studying...

I wish I never grow up...

Brandy

My cute Brandy when she is just one month old. As you can clearly see, Brandy is very black...Her name was actually "Oo Oo" then it become "Brandy." Uncle Wong used to call Brandy "Chiwawa" due to her size...thought that she will never grow bigger till I brought her to the vet. She got so much worms in her stomach that she dun get any nutrient from the food she ate. From then on, she begin to grow lo...

My cute Brandy now (about 4 months old). She is getting stronger and stronger. Just this morning, she broke her red collar strap (as seen in the pic). So, I immediately bought a red leather collar strap. A new strong one...hehe...

Right now, my dad told me to let Brandy out for a run to let her be familiar with the place and take care of the house properly...Basically, I have to teach Brandy how to be a good dog. I wonder if I have the ability to do so. :p

In every person’s heart is a dream for true love

Last night, I watched a movie called "A Boyfriend For Christmas." I know now is Chinese New Year but i just want to watch this movie after i seen the preview...
To read the synopsis, please go here.

Right after i finished watching the movie, i was in cloud nine...or was it day-dreamland? I guess it is true that in every person's heart, there is a dream for that one true love. In the movie, it tells that once the moment is gone, it is gone forever. There wouldnt be a second chance. I dun think i have missed my only chance to meet my Mr Right or have I? I dun think so.

The good feeling doesnt end there. Why? 'Cause I woke up the next morning having a really nice ending to my dream...hehe...So, what was the ending to my dream?

--> The Ending to my Wonderful Dream<--
I met with Wang Lee Hom and I have no idea who he is (or was i pretending not to know him?). He was attracted to me and I am pretending I am not interested. Then i was fully awake....due to my cute Brandy's barkings of hunger. :p
--> haha...Imagine having LeeHom attracted to me...haha...nice dream, right?

Celibacy Band

This is a stunning, hand-crafted Sterling Silver Wedding Band ring. Luminous Sterling Silver has been crafted to an intricate and unique pattern to encircle your finger. This ring has a very beautiful satin finish with a diamond cut center.
--> http://store.yahoo.com/dreamlandjewelry/stsiwebari.html

NOPE...I dun have THIS ring...BUT i got something that looks just like this...my ring is not tat thick...it is not sterling silver...but it is silver...hehe...and it is not wedding ring....it is a normal ring that lynnwei, lynnx and i decided to get one for each of us. And our rings definitely do not have this beautiful satin finish with a diamond cut center...again, ours are normal and cheap rings...hehe....the pattern is the same (almost)...

Celibacy...haha...another one of our many topics...noo...we are not seriously serious with this celibacy band...so...what is celibacy? check the dictionary la...maybe i will discuss more on celibacy later in the blog...

Good vs Bad

What i mean is not in term of personality but in term of ..erm...quiet and noisy? Haha...
BAD aka NOISY: 1S2 is my class...I am the boss there...Everyone in the class got to listen to me and consult me if there is any problem....BUT...the situation is weird...everyone..almost everyone...is very noisy and dun care about me at all unless there is trouble...Ohno...Even during class lessons, they are still the same...makes me so sick one day that i scold all of them and have especially warned a particularly noisy student...Lesson that day was great as i was able to instill some of my lesson plan....Such a relief...
GOOD aka QUIET: 1S1....Not exactly quiet though...The first day, they have left me with a good impression but the next class...the impression was shattered...They become noisy but i made a pact with them that they will remain quiet and docile when i am presenting my 'lecture' or should i say my teaching and then they can make the noise (which is still the tolerable noise) when i get them to do work....but of course they will still need to complete all the work no matter of the noise they make...

PUTUS CINTA

This is a BIG word...and it can be a meaningless word....Recently i was given the chance to open my eyes to a whole new world of broken hearts...How it can be so devastating...Loads of advices will be herd by the broken-hearted ones...
--} Time will heals the pain
--} You will recover
--} He was never the right one for you
--} Forget him. You can still live
BUT that is not what the broken-hearted one will do. They will feel:
--} The world has ended
--} The future is dark and uncertain
--} He is still the one...until another one (new) arrives
--} There is no way to forget him

Regretfully....the things that friend can do is to offer those pieces of advice and hope that the advices would enlighten the broken-hearted to be strong and regain their normal state...
What they really need is to say it all out. Someone..a friend...to listen to all the whinings?

A Piece of Advice and A Note to Myself:
Never never fall into a relationship in a short time. Always spend a great amount of time to observe the guy. Let the guy wait to see his sincerity.

If ever get into another breakup, make sure that I get an appropriate 'victim' to flush out all the frustration...haha...

Stages of Broken Heart:
1. Missing him: Even if you never miss the guy badly when you are together with him, you will
miss the guy terribly after the break-up
2. Hating him: Everything about him...old or new things...you will criticize it. You will hate him
so terribly that the merely sight of him will set you to curse him non-stop while
denying that you hate him
3. Love him: A bit of love for him or it could be a bit of missing him. But you know there is no
chance that the two of you will ever be together again. Somehow you will feel much
wiser and thankful to him for making you wiser.
4. Nothing: After a long time, suddenly you find yourself feeling nothing. He has fade into your
past and does not mean anything at all.
All of the above stages are of my own observation. It may varies for different individuals.

P/S: CK, if you ever get to read this, I want you to know that you means nothing to me already.
We will forever be just friends. Just promise not to make me hate you.
You have the tendency of making people hate you, in case you dont know...:P

AUNTY VISIT a.k.a A.V.
PERIOD
THE TIME OF THE MONTH
GET THE PRESENT ( "chong jiang")
These are the many names for that period of time when women suffer and ..erhmm..bleed...but today, i have learn a new name for this unique situation...it is....Japanese Flag has arisen....
My student in 3T4 called me over during class time and then said to me 'Teacher, the Japanese flag has arisen...Teacher, do u understand? RED ON WHITE...?' I just go "O...So need to go out now?'
The many tales of being a teacher...sigh...

A visit to the Doc
Please dun misunderstood me...cause....i cant help it....i just love the visit to the doc..especially when i am the patient...it is all because i seldom get so sick that i need to go to visit the doc....actually, i din think of going to the doc when i suddenly discover that i have red spots on my legs and some little ones on my arms...grandma suggested that i go to the skin specialist and so we did....
Verdict:
red spots --> tick bites...just need to put on some cream and will heal soon...
red dots --> have this for such a long time. i never think that it is such a big deal. just not nice to look at, that's all...anyways, doc said that this skin disease is harmless...just like wat i have written...not nice to see...it is also passable to the next generation...my poor children...doc also said that even if i use medicine, i will not be able to completely heal it...the medicine he gave me can only make the dots less visible...and so be it...apart from that, i will also need to use the medicine for a long time cause the healing process is really slow...haiya
